Will burnouts help with tires that have flat spots??? If not I think these tires I have are now shot, do to the high speed emegency braking that ended up in me locking up the tires.
If they can't be saved I think I should give them a smokey death, after I get my parts for my 5 lug swap and before I put the new rear end in.

Once C&C is over, I'll be heading over to Matthys333's place to assist getting his car started. Anyone who is interested to help or just see this 13,000 rpm bridgeport NA with a TII intake is welcome to drop by. After that's done, I'll be taking my car down for a while, hopefully to be done before January's cars & coffee.
Plans include:
new struts
Tanabe GF210 lowering springs (1.5" F/R)
Prothane polyurethane control arm and sway bar bushings
Pinion Snubber
Stainless steel brake lines
S5 T04B hybrid turbo
Fuel system upgrades (FPR, larger injectors... not sure what else)
...but most importantly, I'll be making a new hood vent that's about 1/3 the size of the one now, hopefully it'll look more tasteful and not so much like Barbara Streissand. If that fails, I'll be contacting Shine Auto for one of their drop-in vents (sort of pricey, at ~$300 for just the vent).

Amphibious Assault operations. One of our reservists assaulted the park's beach (not supposed to happen). They were surprised to see a 26 ton vehicle come out of the ocean and drive up the beach. We'll be there again at the end of January.

Unfortunately, it turned out that I had somehow maybe told him that cars&coffee was on Tuesday.... So he didn't get a chance to get his stuff together that we needed (i.e. jack, stands, fuel, filter, oil, etc), and likewise wasn't ready for work that day We're going to try some other time.
Meanwhile, in my garage:
Still waiting on new struts and a turbo rebuild kit. At least I can tear the turbo apart and send the rotating assembly for balancing, and replace all the suspension bushings.

Stock S4 TII BAC with the coolant nipple removed. The connector is laying off to the side. It's just one I found on a Ford that fits perfectly, and is also weather resistant. I may switch over to one of the standard Bosch EV1 connectors, as they're smaller and look a little neater.
You may have the same spring compressors I do:
They're a little tricky, but they do the job. Air tools makes things easier too
And this is just bullshit. I think I can see one of my mirrors in this set of photos. I've got to stop parking next to you lol

Same HF compressors I have they definitely do the job!
Thanks for the link, you know I've already plastered it all over FB! You know, that thing that you haven't brought yourself to sign up for yet.
I'll bring the press over after I get off from work at some point.

Actually as it turns out, I have been signed up for one at one point in time. My wife made one for me some years back, found a bunch of my friends and family and made them my facebook friends, made me a layout, some posts... the whole thing. I had to figure out how to delete the damn thing.
