Well, I actually dyno tuned it yesterday. It was more of just a tuning session than a dyno session. Made a whopping 123.8hp at 6500, (mustang dyno, dynojet would be closer to 140). The power curve is basicially a straight 30 degree angle all the way to when I let off. The torque, 101.5 peaked at 5500 and stayed level the rest of the way. I let out of it at 6500 because I need u-joints and I was getting massive vibrations. The main cause of low power is definatly.... get this.... completely stock exaust. I've got an RB streeable header sitting around and a RB presilencer and a Corksport single is in the mail. I'm running the stock primaries, (460cc), and 720cc secondaries controlled by an SAFCII. I know I need standalone...

After the exaust goes on, and I get another driveshaft, I plan on going back on the dyno. I'm guessing the shift point will be around 7.5-8, maybe even 8.5 depending on the curve. These numbers do not do this engine justice. I'm hoping/expecting to make about 180-190 with the stock ECU... then time to save up for a megasquirt. Thats gonna take a while, seeing as I'm a high school student that pays for everthing, no gimmie gimme to mama.

Thats not bad. I am also going to use a SAFC. I am only going to use it during the break in period. Then I am going to Haltech. If I had the cash right now I would get it lol. I also had to buy everything myself no help from mom or dad. Not that I would turn down their help

You have to start some where. Make sure before you buy parts for it that they will fit the vert.

Knox, you got it running! WTG... I wanna see that thing.

I've got two of your banjo bolts still... you might need those! If we have a meet here soon, remind me and I'll bring them. And hopefully my 7 this time, too

I'm not going to be able to afford Deals Gap next weekend I've got $6 in my pocket and an empty tank. Turbo rotary food is now $3.30 a gallon or more, and it's killin' me.

Party Kid, good luck with your vert. Sounds like a sweet deal!

No its not running yet It would be if I would get my side seals. Aside from that just some small stuff like engine paint and such. Like I said no hurry on the banjo bolt.

I get it thurs, and get a tenessee liscence on Fri. I am so siked. CA revokes an minors liscence if you move until you renew it. So I don't have a liscence right now, but if I get my liscence, car, maintinance (oil and filters) done, and I get off of work a reasonable time, we should meet up somewhere on sat or friday night. Probably be off work around 10:00-11:00p

Im up for whenever.

Put the header and presilencer on the car today... sounds exactly like a cammed 4G63.

Still using the stock catback, corksport exaust is on backorder until the end of the month.

On October the 22nd? Want to meet somewhere for a drive up to newfound gap in the mountains, then back down and eat at a nice resturant?

Even just a meet up at a restaraunt, bowling alley, etc. would be fine with me.

But a drive would definately be nice.

So let's say October 22........ time place TBA

Where does everybody want to eat/go?
