Damn the rear end almost came off, sorry about your loss! Is her insurance cutting you a check for a total loss?

That sucks. Get well, take your time. Make sure her insurance takes care of everything, but I have a feeling your attorney will ensure that.

I also suggest you change your signature.

Oh my god, dude I'm so sorry. I really feel for you, man. Mine caught on fire right after I tried to rescue it from some idiot, but at least I was able to save it after re-wiring the entire front end. If you need any help let me know. I live in Fayetteville.

Sorry for the loss and glad your well, for the most part. Why did you have to be taken out from the hatch? the door doesnt look like its stuck shut like if you would of gotten the fender pushed back on the door. Will you be buying the car back or letting them junk it?

Make sure you get full replacement value, not blue-book. In other words, how much would it cost to find a FD in similar condition and with similar equipment including modifications. That would be full replacement value.

You may need an independent appraiser work on your behalf. I know of one in Jacksonville, FL, who has helped before.

Are you buying back the car fro the insurance company, and if you don't want it could you ask your insurance co. what the buy back would be, I would like to buy it for parts to finish my car.

Glad you're okay, car unfortunately is not. That's horrible though. When driving, you're really at the mercy of everyone else. There are still far too many drunk drivers out there. Hopefully they got lamented for it hard.
