Ray, where is the pic of me by the gorge? Can you post that too? I liked the video of me trying to jump, lol. Wish you would of gotten video of the VERY tight cornered road we went on. That was badass.
Had a great time today guys and gals!!
Mike, I saw you got a little more spirited with your driving there coming home. You need better tires!! I could hear them squealing several times. HAHA. And did you see me run that old lady in the 2nd gen on 985? lol, she ran me almost all the way to the 85 merge!! lol. and she was laughing and having a blast doing it.

oh that's right, sorry bout that. seems like that's what everyone calls u so that's all i know ya by. what would u rather be called? and i'm sure someone will quote me and post what they'd LIKE to call u, lol.

Heah Treah, sorry about messing up the spelling on your name, I asked Holly and she said it was spelled with an "e" and then she mumbled something about spelling everything with an "e" from now on.
Are these the ones Zach?
I tried to take some photos and movies in those really curvy parts but Holly was taking the turns too fast and I couldn't hold the camera steady. In fact I was just holding on for dear life.

Yes, I learned a lot about how to make the suspension work yesterday. BTW, I thought a little squealing from the tires is called feedback.
I saw you with that older woman in the 2nd gen. I was doing 80 and you 2 were walking away from me. You were making tracks.
Great day yesterday. I am more convinced I need to get out and do some autocross.

lately I prefer Traynham (pronounced: "train um")...but after 25 yrs of going by Tray, most still call me that...

i have a buddy that reently decided to be called Drew...his real name is Andrew, but I have been calling him Andy since 5th grade. And it pisses him off for some reason if I call him Andy now. I dont get it

What a great meet, really enjoyed meeting new rotorheads. Thanks lt1_rx7 (see I avoid that whole name business Ray) for meeting up with me and escorting me in.
I'll post a few pics later.
Also my odometer turned over and I have a new car now with only a couple of hundred miles on it. Maybe I can ebay it now for 10k :-)
Sorry I cut out early and missed the roads but I wanted to get back earlier and my tires thanked me. Don't think I'll make the april fools day meet down in GA but may later in the summer.

I know you had company at home and needed to leave. But, next time you get up in the area of Highlands you have to take the drive we went on. As the pictures show, very beautiful scenery. The roads were outstanding. The stretch back up to Highlands from the valley was litetally one switch back turn to the next.
Great to see you. Maybe over the course of the summer we can arrange for a meet in the Greenville/Spartanburg area. That would be an easy drive from ATL and CLT.

Man, some of you guys cruised right past where I was (just off of Buford Hwy). Sure wish I could have gone with you, looks like you had a great time!!! While we were at my in-laws, we were discussing the possibility of moving up there... Sure would have some nice roads to drive on. I don't think I drove on one strait road the whole time I was up there!!! LOL
Great pics!!
Later,
Bill

Collin's car needs a good sand blasting Zach, you should have stirred up some dust, would have helped him out (he's painting in the spring).
I liked that windy gravely part, being from snowy New England I'd have had the White Once side ways if you guys hadn't been slowing things down.
It was lots of fun, shall this be the First Annual RX-7 Mountain Day?

Excuse you, Ray? Sandblasting? Zach was smart to be polite and not ruin what so little is left of my paint. And Ray, I cannot believe that you posted that terrible deer-in-the-headlights-while-on-crack picture of me kneeling by my car! Haha
My suspension finally came...so next time we do this, it'll be even more fun!
Zach, I'm not sure what you mean by it was hard to find a rhythm on that road. Your line needs a little tightening up, but in all honesty that was a fairly difficult thing to do as we kind of had to stay in our own lane.
Sadly enough, I still wasn't able to push my car as hard as I'd wanted. My sidewalls weren't even flexing enough to roll over! Maybe next time?
I will commend Brett a little. When I met him, and sorry to be so blunt, his driving sucked ***. So I was a little surprised that all my bitching and question answering had actually gone through that thick skull of his and was being put to good use. Still needs a bit of work, as everyone including myself does. Of course, he'll come back with a comment like I think I know everything about everything and my driving is flawless. This just simply is not the case, but I'm pretty good.
So kudos to Brett.
Ray, the pics turned out pretty good other than the ones with my fatass in them! Seriously, seeing those pictures makes me cringe and feel like I need to take a trip to Richard Simmons' house!
Holly, dinner was nice. That McDonalds was weird, eh? To satisfy my own curiosity I made some rounds at the different stores when I was riding with Cindy (She drives a big rig) these past two days and none of them are like that!
And then that passing thing you did to me on the interstate....Ray, you really underestimate her little Mazda3.
To everyone else who's name I can't remember at the mo', it was fun! See you guys at the monthly meet!
