Midnight Madness = >2 runs MAX

 

well looks like the majority wants sept 23. I called to verify today and was told that Test and Tune hours are 6 PM and only up to 11PM vice midnight madness 6 PM to 2AM for 8 hours. I don't know if this have any affect in peoples decision. we can make another poll if that is the case but for now Officially its SEPT 23 the night before NOPI. what do you do you guys say.?

What's the octane level at the Sunoco pump Gas in Moroso ?

And what's the best octane level I can find in west palm beach area ? 93, 94 ?


Here in Quebec I only have 91.... :0(

 

you can get 104 unleaded at sunoco on gatlin Blvd before getting to west palm....but 93 is the usual high octane.....

Is it an exit from the I-95 ? Gatlin Blvd ?

 

so cast your vote jack. Sunoco only sells 91 but in Moroso they have a small gas station in the track and they offer 100 up to 103 i think.

I've never made more than 2 runs on midnight madness and that's a record. Usually they range from 0 to 1.

 

112 leaded, it sucks, full of water, better off running 93 Amoco or VP C16.
I'd run Toluene or Xylene before I run Amoco....just my personal opinion, although POS SRT-4s and Lightnings run on it all the time.

Last time I went to test and tune I got six runs in. Left Miami at 4pm, teched at 5:30, first run at 6pm, left when people were still running! 6 good runs, won each by a lot, left after running 12.41 @ 114.2 at 10 psi and smoking a WRX that redlit and left 1.8 sec before me

and the Sunoco at gatlin Blvd(yes, off I-95) sells 104 unleaded at the pump.....trust me....i wouldnt mention it for no reason...and its cheaper than the track.

Last time I went to Midnight Madness I made "0" runs. 4 cars broke down took them almost an hour to clean each time and it rained at 1130 so they close the track down and yes there were still **** load of people who want to run if it didn't rain at least 30 cars.

 

So you actually believe because it was MM that 4 cars broke, it rained and you got 0 runs in that night and it happens at all MM. Give me a break, that can happen any night.

 

I never said that I just wrote what I experienced. I cant generalize things if I only experience it once. Also if you were there that night you would have never wrote this "I never have less than four runs on a Midnight Madness night." In the same note I can never say people will have more than 3 runs in MM since I never experiences it either.

 

 

 

LOL nah man I'm just stating the facts. Anyway I talked to Calos and he's not sure if he's coming since he's been seek for a long time. Damn that guy must have lost 20 lbs. He lives a few houses down from me so I'll knock on his door a few days prior and see if he's able to come.

 

We work on the same crew so I highly dought he or I will be able to make it if its not Midnight Madness. Fridays we get off work between 10 or 11pm....if we're extremely lucky 8 or 9pm.

 

Same here, as much as I'd prefer regular Test'n'Tune, I have a much better chance to making to Midnight Madness.

 

Well we have to go with the majority of the votes which is the 23rd the night before Nopi. unless we get more people to say they would rather come to midhinght madness. Me myself is down for anything.

 

well 9 days left and off we go to moroso. just want to know if those people who said they are going are still coming you can call this your roll call.
