THE MIAMI RX7 CLUB is established
The plans for the club t-shirts was shown to everyone and the general concensus is that its a good design that we will most likely go with.. on the back will be a rotor with the words MIAMI RX7 CLUB and it will have all three series of RX7's FB,FC.FD as well as a rotor for a sun and palm trees. The front on the left side close to the heart will be the foruim name of each person. It is projected that the t=shirts will be black with white silk screen letters. We will also have in the works the same logo pic to display on our cars windows.
Paul , Abel and I discussed a meeting to establish the MIAMI RX7 CLUB as a realclub and that it will be registered as a legitimate entity with its own fictitious name and domain name as well...
I hope to get one of you guys to design the website within the next couple of weeks. I went ahead and purchased the domain name as
We will have our own message board and forum... the capability of posting pics.. and the following:
The Miami RX-7 Club is composed of RX-7 owners and admirers of all ages, and backgrounds. We encourage family-friendly events, responsible driving, spirited competition, reliable technical advice, and general fun. We try to organize major events during the year , and have spur of the moment meetings, lunchs, and cruise-ins whenever someone is willing to coordinate it.
We are an open club. We encourage your participation in whatever area you have skill and energy. To contact us, check the Contact Us page, or drop an email to the list administrator.
admin@MiamiRX7Club.com
Additionally, if you are in an area with an existing club, Georgia, or South /North Carolina for example, we're happy to refer you to a local club. Most importantly, be safe, have fun!
Have you ever seen another RX-7 in a parking lot, or stopped at a traffic light, and wanted to let them know about the club, or an upcoming event? One of the best ways to contact other rotary enthusiasts is buy leaving a simple flyer on their windshield, or in their hand. A flyer like this one Try it!
Respectfully yours,

T-shirt Idea
THIS IS HOW THE SHIRT SHOULD LOOK LIKE, JUST PLAYING. WELL HERE IS MY CONTEST ENTRY LOL. VAL I PASSED BY YOU SHOP BUT YOU WERENT THERE I THINK I PASSED A LITTLE TOO EARLY. I THINK THE DRAWING CAME OUT OK, BUT IT STILL HAS SOME MISTAKES ON IT. ITS JUST SO YOU GET AN IDEA. I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE PALM TREES THOUGH. THE LETTERS I DIDNT DO BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW YOU WANT THEM.

great job on the car lay-out...the rotor as the sun beaming down is good with maybe the 2 palm trees in that background too. but doing the 2 rotor as is makes it look kind of a star...l(like the star of David)...so maybe 1 rotor with the club name around it would look more definitive.

Well I Didnt Pay Much Attention To It Because He Was Hitting Around 50 Or 60 And I Was Going The Opposite Direction. But It Looked Stock From The Outside. Like Luis's Brother 7.

Yo Chris... I liked what you did with the design... denifitely... and the avatar is real cool... Boricua's RX7 suggestion about only doing the outline of the cars i believe would be best and also only one rotor would look better with the words 'Miami RX7 Club'.. its turning out really nice... keep up the good work... i will try to work it out to get you some incentive from one of the businesses that sponsors some of our stuff... Best Buy had given a gift certificate for the t-shirt contest that i had a few months back.. but since no one participated I felt compelled to return it. It was the right thing to do....

good point... since some members are coming as far as WPB and Homestead maybe a SFLA based logo would be better. then in the front of the shirts it may read each "chapter" like miami, wpb, ft.laud.,etc..... the car decal could read sfla on top then maybe the city at the bottom. ??

I disagree.... the past has shown that whenever we have meets 98% of the people that show are from the greater Miami and Dade County area.... with the exception of papsmagu and Oneflytrini who now drives a Beemer... I believe keeping it just Miami would be best.

Each silk screen layout will cost money just for the setup alone... I am sure your wife can fill you in on that since she works in the field Jr. If you look at the people who go to the meets or fuddrucker are all from Dade County... the last car show we were at the only person from Broward was Simon 'Papsmagu'

The club would be open to everyone.. not just Miami .. even though it would be called the Miami RX-7 Club... where it originated in.... so I am sure that we would get people from other counties regardless...
