Miami City Hall

I am heading to city hall tonight for my first bid at a change in the town. Every morning when I would head to my old school I had to take a left onto the main road.

Between the hours of 6-10 am and 3-7pm they disable the left turn signal making it very difficult and unsafe as we would have to wait for the yellow light and try to make it before
1) the cameras got you and
2) before other cars would slam on the gas and plow into you.

This seriously needs to be changed as both of these streets are very highly used streets to get to and from work and school.

Also while on the main road during these times they also disable to turn signal causing traffic to back up as the turn lane would fill and people would be stuck in the middle of the highway waiting to get into the turn lane. The only times these turn signals are disabled are during high use times when they are needed most.

Hopefully I can be heard and if I have to I will take it to petition. This light is between the 2 of the most highly sought after living areas of Coral Gables and Coconut Grove at SW 27th ave and US-1 for those living in the area.

The meeting starts at 7pm at the City Hall in Coconut Grove, if I can not be heard tonight I will be back as soon as I can until I am heard.
