Sorry Holly. Reese hasn't answered yet because I am still trying to work out details for work. The first girl backed out on me about working for me. I have one girl willing to work half the day but I still need someone to work the morning. And of course, the two I have asked are playing games and waiting until the last minute to answer me.

I am cranky that we couldn't make it. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Somehow you will have to make it out to us or us to you soon, for a visit Holly. Reese hasn't seen you in forever. Stu and you other Carolinians, you missed a good one! (But Chad made it down from Tennessee, a short 6 hour commute). Lot's of folks with all kinds of rotaries came out of the wood work, it was a great day.
My two favorites were an absolutely mint black SA (Dustin's) and a golden brown, essentially stock 84/85 GSL with a perfect brown leather interior, very pretty, never did find the owner. Lot's of other nice SAs, FBs and SEs too. Hope someone took some pictures!
We backyard rotorheads tend to think of ourselves as experts, since almost nobody else knows anything about our cars and we need to fix them ourselves. But it's clear that the folks at MazMart are keeping the traditions and love alive on a whole 'nother level.
I mean, rows and rows of Rick Engman built 12As and 13Bs sitting on the benches, waiting for a home. I wanted one even though I don't need an engine!
There were RX-3s and 4s galore and some FDs to die for. Shoot, even the FCs and 8s looked pretty good.
Thanks to Rick, Holly and the rest of the MazMart gang for opening their house, feeding the multitudes and a day full of rotaries.

I feel bad that I had to miss it
Sounds like a blast, and I believe this is the first meet EVER that Ray went to and didn't post pictures of in the first post.

My favorite cars were the 76 Rx3 Goldish with the RX3SP strip kit, the Red RX3 automatic, and clean 79 Limited, and of course the silver 79SA that looks like mine minus the sunroof.

And the RX3 SP if I owned it would look like this!
Yep, That's how I would roll! Limo it out!
Pure Sex I tell ya! Now time to sell both Rotary motorcycles (Suzuki Re5) so I can get me an Rx3 or Rx2

Ray, that brown GSL was Rick Engman's. I think he it drove it there yesterday.
Girod, Sorry, I never think to phone you about events with your schedule. I figure, you would find it on here, when you lurk. DGRR2009 & ZoomFest are events coming up in April and July.
Chad, you are welcome at the Rotory Inn any time.

Hey Johnny, according to the title of this thread, which was from the original post on the other forum, MazMart does seem to indicate it was the 1st Annual. So, I would think they are hoping for a 2nd Annual. Let's hope so.
