Import Face off Feb. 27 Gainsville Fl
#2
Well went there with the digicamo rx7. The "judge" one guy, didn't even know what a blooming rotary was. There were a whole 3 mazdas, mine an appears to be stock red fc and a stock rx8 that had wheels and a wax. The rx8 won best mazda, my car had the most attention aside from 3 true showcars. IFO is lame and for ricers.
edit: How the hell can an IMPORT face off have a best domestic category? Also my friend lost best nissan with a clean R32 to a stock 200sx.

Same guy with the RX8 that won best Mazda at last show? Lame! Lol!
I was driving through town when people were coming back....must have been like 10 civics with fart cans, "cut" springs, and general ricer-ness pass by me within 15 minutes.
The Winter turn out was weak...how was this turn out?
Edit: 1 judge? Really? Weaksauce!

Sux. When Tom won best Mazda, there were 2 judges, one that talked to Tom and I about our cars..he said he would never swap a v8 in a rotary....and then Tom won...hmmmm...now that I think of it...
Anyway, sorry it didn't turn out so well. I'd ask for the point sheet to see how many points they gave you for zip ties.
Seriously though, I think you'll get a lot of press/media coverage at Gator Nationals.

You want to talk about lack of talent? Just go to Cafe Risque.
Edit: Eddie...do you want to take a chance on a wing from my place? I'm thinking about grabbing a bumper and hood for testing and the factory is suggesting I sea freight them as air would be $$$.

No min for me on those parts. It might be best for me to find someone who can ship via sea freight in a partial container or something. Generally takes about 11 days across the sea then 5-10 in customs in NYC. Figure 30-60 days to receive them.
Wait a minute...Eddie I thought you had a Feed wing?
