Hey guys, Joshs wife Samantha here (so you guys dont confuse me with Sam lol) Josh made me register on here. Seriously he twisted my arm till I signed up, lol j/k. I thought I would register (after he told me to) just for the fact that unfortunately for you guys, you might be seeing me with him at most of the meets we attend. Anyhow, it was a pleasure meeting you guys (some again).

I apologize for the photos (thanks for whoever completemeted me!), not my best work, but under those conditions, the best I could do

Just a reminder, I AM SORRY SAM!!! lol....what I said should never be shared again! It was an understandable mistake!! I hope lol.

Also, keep in mind, I am new to the rotary world but not to the world of cars. Just because I am female, doesn't mean I won't help tear into an engine with the best of them. Just don't exclude me out because I drive a car with pistons

See you guys around!

yeah yeah yeah, there is only ONE reason why you like that photo lol

hmmm, I wonder what that could be?

And no, I am not coming to the dark side even if you guys had cookies (unless it was a cheap third gen in great condition which would only be a chance in hell freezing over) besides I still have a car payment on my beau to make lol (2 years and 5 months to go!! YES!)

So I guess I will just ride in one instead

I should clarify this before i get death threats from FD owners. The front plate is what really bugs me. The plateless front is better. Hey I can't say too much. Mine isn't even the same color(s)

SammieD,.. Sam's SA is tempting. If we had the extra cash we would grab it so the family of 7's would be complete.

For the SA/FB guys/gals..I was watching SPEED yesterday before the meet. Targa New Foundland was on. The SA/FB's reprsented and won there class' respectivly. ( Basically a run what you brung set-up, make a class for you type of thing very cool) The Rx8 won the modern stock class as well. The rotary can't lose!!!

hey guys, i work with a guy that lives on amity hill road in Troutman. Now i hope i dont sound like im preaching to anyone but, after the last meet when a couple people pasted on a double yellow and the excessive speeds we all were running i thought i should throw this out there.

he told me today at work that he saw all of you come by screaming pretty hard. Hes pretty cool guy and loves cars and all and doesn't mind but his neighbor on the other hand did. The guy i work with told me the neighbor came over that evening and was talking about it and said he actually reported a group of cars driving careless and reckless. Just thought i should mention it. I dont know any other details other than he did report it, not sure to what bureau, but just something to think about. I dont know why the drives have to be as fast as they are, most of the roads are still fun running just 5 over. I know after the cops sitting down there at the meet the entire time watching us we really dont need any unwelcome company and dont really need to be bringing any unnecessary attention to us.

I agree that we need to be more considerate of the speed limit, but I don't think we were being too wild. Differance of opinion I suppose. I'll let the guys know at the next meet. I think a more subdued drive should be in order. On a brighter note, I have most of the video edited. I should have it finished in a couple of days.

I dont want to sound like im pointing fingers, just something i thought i should mention. I was kind of caught off guard and shocked when he told me that today. And yeah everyones opinions are different and change with age (his nieghbor was a older man), but still he did call and i dont want any one to get in trouble.

Also Dave and I were talking at the meet about maybe trying to change things up a bit and have some fun doing different things. Like meeting at parks, or someones house and doing like a car care day. Stuff like the autofair, autocross meets just throwing some things out there. I might even try to play around with making us a website, with a calender of events with contact info for everyone, a members page and like a on going photo spot. I will take some time but over the next month or two im going to see what i can come up with, hopfully with amys help i can make it look good (she built her on site and manages everything on there)

thats probly also cuz u know tha roads

not to say that the rest of us dont enjoy it, i know josh did, there was several times we'd turn a corner or take a curve and id look at his car and see a big *** grin in his mirror lol.

ha nice.

I am sorry to get off key a little, ya'll can beat me up later for it (especially since there is already a thread on it ), I am just seeing if any of you guys are going to go on the blue ridge parkway cruise for the day with some us on the 26th. I am trying to get things together some and I am trying to get a "head count". If willing to stay over night, that evening we will be cruising the cuising spot in Asheville and afterwards having a bonfire party and then backyard camping. Either way, even if you dont want to stay the night, I think it will just be a cool and fun thing to do with a bunch of cars that day.

I am hoping to get some better photos (maybe I can pickup a tripod for my camera) and with the scenery the parkway gives (i found out you can pull over anywhere on the parkway, not just the over looks, as long as your vehicle is completely off the road!), there should be beautiful photos to come out of it.

Please let me know if any of you are interested in coming to hang out. Its just a big family fun day

Now back on topic lol.

SAM, GET THAT VIDEO UP! Dont make me get all female on you!
