lol, i haven't hardly had one second to touch my setup been busy as all hell at the shop, but soon enough!

it will be glorius and when it's ready and fully tested (750+ whp) it will probably end up being the only block i'll build from there on out due to me know it's practically going to be bullet proof

anywho, i am going to try and get out there. maybe in my buddies rx8 or something lol

Who is the Montego Blue FD in Denver at the "tradewinds business center" i believe.. Right next to N pilot **** RD>?? Who are you. I have seen your car a couple times there. Stopped by just now but had no pen. I WILL be back to invite you to our meets if you are not already aware of them!! Nice car FMIC gauges on pillar etc.. Clean paint too.

That's the bueaty i saw !! Nice. I just went back by to drop a note about this thread and the meet and you were not there Do you guys live in Denver? We(my GF and I) are out off of Webbs Chapel Rd.( Near Sailview) I would love to meet someone close by. Good to see you are on the forum.

 

Nice to see some other FDs making it to the meet. I should be able to make it to the meet in June. This 2nd weekend of every month is practically impossible for me.

Washed my girls today. It was pretty out and there was pollen all over them.

I think i might be livin in your apartment complex come august. i came up to mooresville today to look for apartments and looked at the model in the one you live in, it was definately my favorite. i guess u wasnt there i only saw one of the FD's. I also saw another black fd up there with stock rims that had been chromed and it had a big wing on it. ever seen it?

 

No , no dyno yet. I still need to hae someone tune it when i get the time and money. Right now I am tearing it down for paint. Still driving it but it is ugly at the moment. Doesn't matter,...I can outrun the haters and not have to listen to them

I am also down with having a vote like Stu said so we can accomodate more people if it doesn't interfere with others as well. Any given Sunday(great movie BTW) is good for me. I would like as many as possible to show up. And if it is simply that weekend alone that is keeping you from showing up. I say lets go for the first weekend or third, or fourth


Hope to see you all Sund. I will probably show up for the begining and take off when you go eat.My back can't handle bar stools or sitting in general for any long time periods. Oh well. Maybe I'll double up on the Vicodin and try it!

No ,...curb feelers for the FD No It is a stud gun. It welds on a stud, then you grab it with the slidehammer and pull the dent(s) out. Then final touches and mud,etc.. The wheel is for getting to bare metal

BTW: If anyone is in the area this afternoon. I think i may drive up to the LKN state park to check out some possible meeting areas..for later in th eyear.

 

Hey be careful using a slide hammer to yank on those body panels. I did my wifes motorcycle tank and the dent barely moved and some how i managed to rip a hole right in the side of the tank. Just a warning, good luck

 

Too late. Hole has been made Haha Yeah Rx panels are not strong enough for this type of repair

Just so you know. Most all aftermarket air filters for the FC do NOT come with the shiny polished aluminum pipe. I know because i wanted it at one time. around01' 02'...I ordered the WeaponR,..Just the filter and adapter. Ordered the Blitz,..Just a filter and adapter. I stopped after the Blitz and kept that...Personally The Weapon R is cheapy looking plastic cage)IMO) and a foam filter....Just noticed the cage is different on this version. I would still be suprised if the pipe comes with it

I did notice a great sound increase when mashing it once the A/f was installed.

Just FYI. Not bashing you or the WeaponR intake.

Well, are we still going to have the meet this Sunday? I have made plans to be there this time. I don't think I would be able to make it the following Sunday. Looks like most have planned to be there this week. I have been working on cleaning up the engine parts that Stu help me tear apart. I'll have some rotors to show what happens when you leave an engine exposed to the elements for two years.

 

I'll be there. I'm leaving my house at 11:00 I should be there around 1:00. I've been thinking. I removed all three cats and had oem mufflers installed. The car is quiet. I'm thinking of putting on glasspacs. How bad do you think it will screem. I just think the mufflers are too restrictive. I don't want to put the money into some really good mufflers.
