I did't know anything that Long or myself do is open for question? We have the fastest, baddest RX7s in the area. Should we be penalized because we built our cars ourselves? Are we not worthy because we didn't drop them off somewhere and pay someone else to build them? I think our testament speaks for itself when Long dynoed 516rwhp at ONLY 20psi.

Anthony, quit letting DAVE start more crap here. What I posted was ment to be taken lightly as some motivation to get you guys wanting to do more stuff yourself, instead of relying on guys like Bryan, Josh, or myself.

Turbocharging a PP (and keeping it street driveable ) is the most effecient path of air flow. BUT, we want to put the powerband in a lower RPM range to retain some torque. This can only be done by putting the port timing closer to the 12A's stock side intake port timing.

josh, sam, that's a big step, definitely keep us updated on it, see how things turn out. worst comes to worst, **** won't work, but if it does then you guys have revolutionized rotary engineering once again.
on another hand, finally got an economic, very reliable, good running car to use as a DD so that i can start doing what i've always wanted to do to the rx-7. i think i'm gonna finish the suspension/handling then worry about engine. these cold days make me want to be F.I.

You two alone have gone thru more motors than everyone in the group combined. I've had the same motor since 2006...don't even start that cocky *** **** with me. Yes you have made some very impressive power but nothing to get your head big about. You gotta problem with answering simple mechanical engineering based questions then find another major.
All he did was ask a question and you did sound a bit cocky (which i would be proud of it too) but he was just looking for an explanation on the theory you and josh had come up with and i dont think he was trying to say anything about your work he was just wondering, thats what we are all here for yall!!!!!

Its all good LOL I did a LOT of research for/on the theory of the PP
And thats why I think the port timing I did is going to have the low rpm TQ of
a large street port,and the high rpm power of the PP. Here is how I came up

Interesting project doing a PP 12a.
Is this a semi-PP where your still using the intakes from the irons or
are you filling those in somehow?
If you fill them in, how are you getting a smooth surface on the filled
in intake ports?

No problem guys. I never want us to have any "personal" issues here.
Tim, as far your question, this is strictly going to be PP. The side ports on the irons will remain untouched per say. We will be making block off plates to be bolted on the outside if the original intake ports on the irons. If Mazda found this technique good enough for the 787B LeMans 4 rotor, I think that will do fine for our lttle project.
Now Anthony, for your question. Port velocity and volume will remain the same as any PP. The main differance is going to be port timing. This is crucial in deciding the power band and operating range of the engine. Another factor involved in deciding the operating range of the engine, is how it is balanced. Without having the rotating assembly lightened and balanced, we would not be able to take advantage of a standered PP port timing. Plus, this engine is going to be turbo. So with trying to keep the power band streetable in the 3500rpm to 9000 rpm range, we have decided that this port timing will be best suited for our plans for this engine.
Does this explain our intentions better?

Hey Anthony, try searching for AeroVette. Good guess, but that Rotary in the video is quite a bit older than even the Cosmo 110.
