NICE INTERCOOLER SAM!
Just installed the rtek 2.1 ECU, got some balanced and flow tested 720cc and 1000cc injectors from kgparts.com. Keith is a good guy to do business with.

As soon as I get this tuning situation under control I'm uppin the boost! But until then we'll see wut she can do at stock wastegate spring pressure this Wednesday....on 101 octane and meth, just for safety ...plus I get to beat up on the beefed up rear end too!!

How'd the meet go fellas?

Hey Bad 83 I came out to meet you guys, but went to the wrong BK(took a right of I77) I then found the correct one I think,I'm not local so I dod not know my way around too well, but it was too late about 2 pm I had a good drive along with my 5 yr old nephew and since I had not driven the car in 9 month. Not sure If I'll be here for the next meet but if I am I will be there.

Sorry we missed you. Manny and myself were the only ones who showed. We must have just missed you because we left the BK at 2pm. We came to my house and worked on his car for a while. If you are somewhat local, we can meet up sometime.

I have finally got my car perfectly tuned at 15psi right now. Pulls like a stuck pig.

I have one question for you Anthony. How can you run more than one bar (14.7 psi) of boost? I thought all the R-TEK ecus still use the factory map sensor?

Well Mills, glad your back in town. Hopefully we can scrounge enough parts together to turbo your FC. We need another turbo rotary around here

I'll be capping it at 15psi, which is pretty much the end of the efficiency of my turbo anyways. You can datalog all of your sensors with the rtek 2.1, ie, tps, coolant temp, afm, map, 02, wideband, air intake temp, etc. So even if I ever decide to try and creep the boost higher there is still a level of control, but not as reliable as a full blown standalone, but for the price compared to a standalone that is to be expected .....now if these damn injectors would come in now

How are you tuning yours with the rtek 1.7?

Hey whats up guys, sorry I havent been on in a while but I havent had to bother any of yall with questions about my car since its not in FL with me I do have to say though that there are alot of 7's down here in Orlando, I see a nice DD gsl-se everyday on my way home from school and it kills me that i dont have my SA.

BTW Sam I think I may have something down here that will give the FB a run for its money granted you could build like six fb's for the price lol.

it does sound SWEEET though

hell this one might give ya a run too...twin turbo v12

^^^ Those BMW's are straight up nasty! I envy the power they make on minimal amount of boost, lol..

So I got finally got everything installed today, turns out my 720's are flowing 740cc's after the balancing . But did some driving around and datalogging with the rtek...hit as low as 8.87 AFR's at 12 psi lol. Safe to say she needs a lot of tuning cuz it feels like I lost a good 50 hp or so .

I have the same issue with the RTEK 1.7 as you do Anthony. It still runs off the factory map sensor. That will limit the computer to 14.7 psi. That is why I have capped mine at 15 psi. I have run the boost higher for short period of time and the AFRs still have stayed in the high 12s and low 13s. The air fuel doesn't bother me. I worry about how the computer isn't capable of backing the timing more above 15psi. But I will say this, at 15psi the RX is very hard to handle. Just ask Mills
