The Work VS-SS wheels are sexy, but $1800 just for some rims?

fuel only ecu's had "F" in the model number.

quoted from a search i just did: "A whole series of fuel only computers followed the F7 with the F7A, F7B, F7C, F9, F9A to the F10 that we have today."

Congratulations. Glad to see another first gen saved. If you feel like coming to the Statesville area, I would be happy to check it out for you. You can ask most of these guys here and they will tell you that I might just know a few things about these rotarys.

I am selling the vert because that was the plan when I got the car. I have pretty much fixed everything that was wrong with the car, and then some. I was hoping to hang on to it a little longer, but now is the time to put it up for sale. I have had 5 people call about it since I put it up for sale Saturday. Hopefully that is a good sign.

so i'm ordering a knightsport or racing beat FCD for my turbo II. how hard are these to install? does it just replace the one under the hood near the airbox? i read these are necessary in turbo iis so you can run higher thanm factory boost so you don't mess the rear rotor up when you exceed 8.6 psi.

I've never looked but you must already have one because I've seen your boost gauge hit higher than the preset fuel cut boost which is somewhere around 8.6 psi. If I were you, I would just save up and get the rtek because it has the fcd built into it and it also retards timing 1 degree for every pound you go over 9 psi for safety. The factory ecu doesn't do well on any injectors besides the stock ones.

I'm going standalone and would sell you mine, but the s4 and s5 ecu's I don't think are compatible.

No i was talking about getting one, but the whole omp issue kinda put that on pause so i've been looking at alternatives, like running 720cc secondaries, a fcd, and my safc II.

ever since my first set of secondaries wnt bad ive only been running 8 lb. til i figure out whats best.

Idk, I almost think a wideband 02 sensor would be your best bet. The narrow band shows that you aren't running lean but they aren't very accurate. If you install a wideband and it shows that you're in the 11.0-12.0 range at WOT I wouldn't touch anything because your secondary injector transition is silky smooth...which won't be the case when you start changing injectors. Mine was smooth with the stock injectors on the s4 turbo but with the s5 manifold, rtek, and 720 secondaries I have to anticipate the transition and lift off the throttle some or people think I'm trying to race them

Plus i really can't afford an r-tek right now, at least a FCD will allow me to safely exceed 8.6 psi! and i've already found a racing beat fcd for 50 shipped.

And i feel like a dumbass for pushing my car as hard as i have without one, but when u have a previous owner who says it has one when it doesn't it kinda screws you over.

If you didn't have an FCD of some sort whenever you hit 8.6 psi the ecu will cut fuel and you would definitely feel it hesistate, slow down, buck, etc... Cutting fuel is the worse thing possible in boosted applications which bothers me that Mazda designed something like that.
