Cool, a TII first gen. Not too shabby.
Hey DJ, If your really wanting to go with the R-Tek, just go for the 1.7 and get yourself some 720 secondary injectors.
Anthony, I have been tring to figure out those wheels for a while. If you find out before I do, let me know.

MOP has to be removed or the ecu will enter limp mode.with an rtek.
MOP Removal:
On the S5 series, the oil injection pump (MOP) is electronic and controlled by the ECU. If the ECU detects a failure of the MOP it will enter limp mode. This makes removal of the pump impossible with the stock ECU. The MOP Removal feature defeats the operation of the pump and detection of pump failures (codes 20, 26, 27 and 37), thus allowing complete removal of the pump. Premix or the more reliable S4 mechanical pump can then be used.
CAUTION: This mod should not be used if you intend to continue operation of the electronic MOP.

Holy Crap Micheal. That is a rare find.
DJ, if you read R-Tek's website, the S5 MOP removal is optional. If you send them your ecu, you simply tell them you want to keep your MOP and they leave it in the ecu. If you tell them to remove it, they will.
Tyblat, you are welcome to come up and visit with the CrossRoads crew anytime. We have a monthly meet on the second Sunday of every month. We meet at the BK on Williamson RD in Mooresville. Exit 36 on I77.

i searched youtube and found it. i just finished watching Ben 10: Alien Swarm on cartoon network. had an rx8 in it. this link is part 5 and the rx8 shows about mid vid. and then again at the end of part 6. guess the writers didn't like the rotary sound they put the V8 sound on it.

I'm curious about the whole fmic thing....so it makes your car slower? The stock pipe is less pipeline yes, but its diameter is restrictive.....and lowering your intake charge makes horsepower, right? The tmic is designed to handle 6 psi or maybe 8? if you are running you car, your going to launch above the lag point anyway? I thInk anyone who plans on running boost above 10 psi should upgrade their ic whether its FM or TM. Even stock boost would benefit from a cooler charge. Just my opinion though. I'm not trying to start **** but look the stock ic up. Its what, 60 percent efficient at best? its like saying stock exhaust is better than 3" turbo back...

Think about the stock intake....if you run a pipe 10 ft out the front of the car, its still going to flow better than a stock intake....I saw a dyno slip on this, I will try to find it
