Nice!
I am stripping the FB enginebay down some tonight for a good cleaning. It is white under the grime, I can almost bet on it Gotta take some pics first so I remember where it all goes back. Being a FB rookie and all.

I have my omp line issue resolved. I have enough spare parts laying around at my house to build another car....a fast one at that..lol...as far as the window pieces go I picked up a can of the spray rubber stuff for tools and whatnot today...as soon as iget done with porting and polishing I'm going to try it out. anyone got a nice set of seats for a fc or fd?

I limped my baby home tonight
Gave my cousins a little joy ride, did a little boosting but nothing more than I do at our meets, went to drive back and get on 85S and lost all my power and she started backfiring on me. Threw on the hazards and pulled off the highway, she idled like a champ so I was a little confused, couldn't find a missing vacuum line or popped intercooler piping so I tried to get on the highway again and she didn't like that at all, no boost, just creeped at about 10 mph ... eventually i found an rpm where it would hold steady and made it home. Still idled fine, still thinkin a seal might have let out on me tho... so in that case it would be a good and bad thing. Good so I don't spend any more money on it anytime soon, bad because....well u know
I'll know more tomorrow, maybe the turbo was seizing up, who knows..

If it idles like normal Ant, chances are that the seals are fine. It sounds like the AFM, or TPS took a **** to me. Given that the effects of throttle are what they are. Do the ghetto comp test. Pull your top plugs one at a time, disconnect your CAS and hold the throttle wide open when you crank. Listen for even strong woosh's from each rotor. I think you will be OK based on how it idles, does it start up fine? Remember it could also be that TPS adkustment. You were missing parts for that when we put ot back together after changing the TPS sensor.
And not to start any arguments but stay away from the bridge. Just isn't worth the extra hassle IMO. Just that port will cost you alot of $$ to support it. Ask me how I know? To do it correctly takes some time and lots of $$$.

Me and Sam traded TB's so that part that was holding the tps adjustment screw was swapped as well

I was hopin that was the case because it still idled perfect and started up in less than a second, i'm confused how I could be giving it gas and the car was absolutely silent, no decelerating purr or nothing and then it would jerk back to life. any ideas on that?

I'll look thru my manuals and see what systems are tied in together and whatnot.

That looks pretty nice there buddy! If you only have a days worth work left, just get motivated and finishit up. I know, easier said than done.

Looks to be running a tad rich, but not bad. I hope something didn't go nuts with the ECU. It does sound like either the MAP lost vacuum, or the hose between the MAF and the turbo is torn. I know you had a iffy hose between them, It might have gave up on you.
