what else could you possibly want more than an fd? I was wondering whose fd that was.....i spend way too much time on craigslist....on a side note...i have zero experience with any kind of cooling systems...but with the water hitting the intercooler it shouldn't matter how cold it is, right? I mean...if the water is a fine mist, hits the intercooler, its going to cool it down because of evaporation....? I'm sure it would be nowhere near as effective as a cryo spray bar though unless you use methanol....as I said, no experience with it.....if I was running a cryo bar I would get one of the fuel cooler cans that you drop dry ice in and fog it out with co2 also...just a thought I had..

Yeah I take trades,..cash for car trades I just want to do something different, and I have had that the longest.
Anyways, yes evaporation will be there, but at the temps of the charge air, the effect will be almost non-existent.Again , if you chill the water with ice or better yet a mixture of water/ice/and salt, it will be much more effective. I say salt because if you add salt to ice water it will get colder than the freezing point of water. ( think bearing sea ice. It doesn't freeze the ocean until it is well below the freezing point of water.)
A gas charge is the easiest way IMO.( As a gas charge is always cooler than it's liquid counterpart.) It gives you the option to use it whenever you want to, and you only have to worry aboout the bottle having a charge left. Otherwise you have to get out and fill the tank with cold water/ice/whatever. The dry ice is an idea as well, but again you are stuck with a finite resource for cooling. More so than a bottle of Co2. And you can fill those just about anywhere, paintball shops, scuba shops, etc...

I have the exhaust layed out on the big sheet of AL I have. The intakes I will need to do still. I also have the original Pineapple template for the exhaust I used. That was yours wasn't it It's been a while. Let me know when you want it and I will try to do them.
A tip for Vaccum line replacement: Only do one at a time. I know there are not that many on a T2 but when I did the FD ones in Hawaii...80+ lines to get back to the correct places...

Not a big rush on the exhaust template since that is for 13b, I need to get a 12a template for the exhaust.

I found a GSL-SE in Ashville for $300. I'm hopeing to pick it up this coming week. The interior has all been redone. Carpet, seats, etc. The fuel pump went out, and the owner pulled the pump, went a bought a new one. Then he had back surgury. He just wants to get rid of the car now. I looked ar it about a month or so ago, he was originally wanting $500, but he called me yesterday and said he would take $300. Sweetness.

Anyone else see Felipe Masa get hit in the head with a chasis spring in F1 Qualifying? Knocked him the hell out at 100+ and straight into a wall Air lifted to the hospital for head scan.
