Thank god for the last 2!! What kinda scheme you doing on the Busa? If you ever need any work done on that I am a 12 year certified tech for all import ( Japan) bikes. I just "retired" last month. What year Busa is it? Any engine work? Cam swaps etc... Wanna turbo it? I've done one of those in Hawaii at my shop

6 quarts!! DAMN!! You should be able to do the FC with that as well. That's alot of paint.

well i did, and here's the reply i got.

I'd like to say that I'm very glad you like my car. It runs and looks great. It has no dents, no leaks, no hidden flaws and it hasn't been involved in any crashes. The car has a clear title and it is registered in Perryville, MO. I serve the USAF and I'm stationed at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. I won't be able to leave the base until august, so I will have the car shipped to you at my expense because I benefit of numerous discounts.
I will pay the shipping fees and the insurance of the car.
All documents will be provided to you along with the car including the bill of sale under your name, title, service records ...
The reason I'm selling the car is of a personal nature and has nothing to do with the condition of the car. It is in extremely good shape and I regret selling it, so my loss will be your gain.
I'm a serious seller and I prefer to deal only with a serious buyer that understands my situation.
The final price is $2900.
Please reply if you're interested and I'll get back with more details of the car, more pictures and the VIN.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

V/R

Anyone have a a/c line from the compressor. The one that heads forward to the drier etc../ Mine was rubbed raw by the pulley and burst a while back. Anything that works for a 81 would be great.

Hopefully a better exhaust setup is on its way in time maybe for ZoomFest if I have time to clean it up and install it.

Lol about the fine China.....I have a set like that only in red....Opened a box to find an FD charge pipe today....damn thing is going to need some paint...feels like plastic...im thinking of some JB weld and my rotozip to do some "custom" work...My other baby is an 00 Candy velvet maroon and gray..All mods were done at 16,xxx miles...I got the bike at almost 20,000 and have put 4xxx on it....Muzzy sidewinder exhaust, BMC filter, pcIII...I put on an R1 throttle tube which is a little bit less of a twist and cut the flapper out of the filter box and the bottom out and fiberglassed it so that its straight and flat to the tbs...I would like to swap out cams in the future, along with a port and polish, maybe some drop in JE 12 to 1? maybe some velocity stacks...I would love to turbo it but those kits are expensive as ****...prolly going back with the same graphics as stock except with different colors...if all 6 quarts were the same color my whole fleet would be the same color...lol...

Yep The charge pipe is plastic,.. The FD was/is The KING of plastic engine pieces

Nice bikes!! Depending on the year Busa, A popular cam mod was to install a stock Exhaust cam into the intake as well( running 2 exhaust cams) It gave a good bit of power due to the overlaop and duration timing. Plus it is pretty cheap and easy to do. A half day project all round for a cam swap. Also as for fuel mods on the busa, unless you are going to dyno tune it I would not get a Power Commander for it. Just take it to a Suzuki dealer and have them Re-map it with the "Yoshimura fuel corrector or Yoshbox" Super easy, takes 5 minutes and is just as effective. Just FYI. If your busa is FI
It sounds like you do most of your own work, but just let me know if you have any issues or need help. I love bikes but I love rotors more. My dream is owning either a Suzuki Re5( the Only Suzuki I will EVER own,,..No offence) Or I'll take a old Norton Rotary bike as well.

Nice pipes Tim No put some pre-mix in that bitch and smoke it!!

Seriously though, Is your other header a collected header( 2-1) or duals like that one? I would be intrested in your old header. Mine was cut at the collector and I ghetto fabbed a new one,..very ugly. Anyways you get my point. Let me know how much for the old header if you feel like parting with it.

I just got done polishing Elizabeths cans

My current setup is the original Rotary Engineering street port system and its
showing its age. The front presilencer has become unsilent and has some loose tin
in it and makes an obnoxious rattling sound at idle. Its driving me nuts plus its
gotten louder now, which is ok but doesn't really mean anything to performance.

The RE header is a dual outlet and might mate up to the RB SP middle section but I
got the whole system in case I have to use the RB header. Guess I shouldn't have
wrapped that header so soon. Looks like I may be using the rest of that header
wrap as well. Dave one way or another I'll have a dual outlet header available and
we can talk about it at ZF.

Got the rear coilovers on todaym I literally took the old springs out by hand. So much for needing the spring compressor! I got the car dropped 1/2 inch lower than with the old springs, assuming the old springs were saggy and already drooped a bit. Now the rear sits at 24".

I need to weld the fronts on, but I was wondering if anyone had a front strut assembly from an 84-85 just layin around? I don't need the strut/springs/caliper/etc, just the larger hub/bearings and shock tube.
