what you say willis? i find it hard to beive you have "NEVER" broken a bolt off. one thing to reallize the bolt on this car are over 15 years old, and the one i was dealing with was some cheap ol' chinesse crap. it really depends on the bolt as well, and the funny thing is i was using a mini tourqe wrench, and i toourqued it to the factory setting of 8 lbs. it was just old and probably just not made right in the first place.

**I have NEVER had a bolt break on it's own. I was always doing something to it with a tool.**

That's the entire sentence which was apparently not read completly. I never said I NEVER broke a bolt in my career. I said it NEVER broke on it's own read fully please. I even said it was MY fault

Next, again somethoing else was going on that was not caught, a streched bolt, corrosion causing ecessive resistance and heat. I stick by my statement. Bolts don't break on their own! China seems to get blamed alot

Stu, Like the commentators were saying, A car that has run a 24 hour race should "look" like it has run a 24 hour race. Adds a shitton of character to the car. But GM is hurting so they want every bit of good PR they can get. So I kinda understand why they did it.

Not to mention that they could not lose any spots by stopping and it keeps the odd jackass from crashing you out with 20 minutes left.

PUG did something similar by having Bourdais slow to a crawl so the leads cars could cath up and be 3 wide for the photo ops.

I'll be there. What time do us rotor heads all want to show up for the dyno? I think it would be impressive as hell to have us all waltz in together and dyno all in a row.

Andre will there be much of a line? Whats a good time to show up?

I'll be coming up from the south so anyone that wants to meet up on the way can PM me and we can work it out. I live right off of exit 25 on 77.

I wonder if we can get Michecl from Spartansburg to come up? I know he would love to dyno his SP. What do you say Micheal? Its a saturday you have work off?

I went ahead an posted a note about this in the OGTA thread to see if we get any interest from down there.

2K!!mmm no!you overpaid. Plus I don't want or need a GT45.Doesn't fit my tracking needs

Off to Nashville this weekend to visit father inlaw and family Only good thing about the trip is I demanded that if I were to go I get to drive up there thru Deals Gap And return on the Cherohala Skyway Bad-***. The Go-Pro should get a workout.

Can't figure which car to take. The FC or FD, or maybe the FB. Depends on if the paint is dry and buffed on the FC.

Have fun at the dyno, watch your Intake air temps Long,Sam, and whomever else gets on with a forced induction Rotor(s) What's the weather going to do?

The weather will be 95+ and sunny. So it should be a great day for it other than the heat

Lets start a list for whose coming. Remember this is our monthly meet as welll as a dyno day.
So come on out even if your not doing the dyno. I haven't made a meet in months and
I'd like to see everyone out there.

Just repost this with the your name or handle added on. Common lets make this a meet to remember.
As an added bonus there should be lots of ricers to make fun of as well

1. Josh
2. Sam
3. Tim
4. Andre
5. Edgar
6. Stu (come on you know you want to even if you can't do dyno run)
7. Robbie (?)
