Got the FD seats installed into the FB. Drivers side for now. They(it) looks good. Fits like a glove too. Anyone intrested will just need to fab up some extension brackets as the FB mounting holes are wider apart. I welded some tabs onto the rails and then drilled new holes thru them at 1.5 inches spaced. Total bolt spacing should be 15 1/2 inches.

Here are a couple quick shots of the seat in the car. I will snap pics of the brackets later on this weekend or when I do the other seat Soooo much more comfy than the blown out stockers. And I think they look good in the car as well. Excuse the mess as I still haven't cleaned it since I bought it. Kinda diggin the 500 dollar grunge. Peep the AK-47 bayonet taken from a DEAD insurgent in Iraq... a gift from the sniper.
FB question now: Can you remove and or replace the leading ignitor? If yes can I get a link to a how to or a description of the process. The manual that came with the car is for a SA and has fender mounted ignitors.. Thanks I lost all spark on the leading side overnight while sitting in the driveway

you can replace it yes, but they're over 100 bucks new. i'm sure someone's got some laying around that may give you a better deal. or you could do that Direct fire with the GM ignitors, but you need another coil.... http://www.needfulthings.net/cgi-bin...ST;f=77;t=1511
btw, the ignitor removal/install is pretty self explanatory, on distributor cap leading is the one pointing towards radiator, trailing the one pointed towards alternator.

Dave, go the GM HEI ignitor route and also get 2G leading coil. Its a great upgrade to the ignition and easy to do. I've got the 2G coil and I'm thinking about doing the GM HEI thang because I think my 80 ignitors are on borrowed time as it is.
I think the FB ignitors fail sooner because they're on the dizzy and theres more heat over there. On the other hand the SA gets cross talk on the ignitor signals because the sit over on the wheel well.
