We can get it inspected but the price is set by the state. As an inspector myself, the shop and tech make hardly anything doing them. I make .15 of an Hour flat rate to do them. But we can get it done for sure when you get a NC plate.

he doesn't check that crap on my stuff. Not worth it for the 13.60 the state charges And since no sniffer is done it is straight forward. Just get me a NC regy and I will get it done when ever you are ready. Hell my FD passed everytime although I did have an aftermarket airpump on it

well, you could try and actually work on your car yourself instead of begging everyone else to do it for you. I mean we only had to buy the tools to work on the cars in the first place, know what we are doing, and completely take the turbo apart and then put it back in. . Then there is the compressor and air grinder used to port. ( or dremel, whatever Sam uses..) Soo yeah 100 bucks is hardly worth it to you. 100 is barely worth it to me. But by all means spend the money drifting and on tires instead... Damn kids!!
Not just to quote what Dave just said, but I would want $100 to do it if you just brought the turbo.
Anyway, I redid my vid that YouTube pulled the audio on so here's the new link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm1Yx...eature=channel

i'm sorry for breaking in, but they're right, they're actually doing it extremely cheap, take your car to a shop and tell them to do the same thing, see how much they charge. the only cheap way to do work on your car is to do things yourself, that way, if you **** up, it's your own **** also.

Don't mean to jump on ya DJ but when I looked up getting my wastegate ported by a shop the labor time is flat rated at 8 hours and most shops charge something of $80-100 an hour at least. With simple math you can tell how much of a favor 100 bucks is (about 90% less). If I were you I would jump on that offer is quickly as possible because it's a whole lot of work to port that wastegate. Either way, just throwin in my 2 cents.
So Dave!!!!! Will I be able to pick her up or check her out on Saturday or does the paint need to cure for a couple days?

Ant: you should be able to come by on Sunday and we could go look at it. It needs to cure at least overnight because it will be like candy and will be hard to keeps hands off of. So, it has to be dry all the way No fingerprints in clear for meIt will take a little longer since it will most likely be raining, however that keeps dust in the air to a minimum which is good.
