What's really sad is that GM can design and build a 405hp V8 that gets 26+ mpg, and the Big Bad A$$ V8 that Toyota has can't come close that hp and can barely get 18 mpg. So what's up with that?

Tundra = brick

Corvette = 1500rpm at a million MPH.

Still, pushrods ftw

Shoot Tim a little cold weather doesn't slow us OG@TA's down. Some photos from last night's meeting:

We are working on getting Chris a heater hose.

I have some extra OG@TA December cards if anybody needs them, just send me a mailing address:

Ray I'm from up north, so this weatehr is just fine. Beats the hell out of snow.

My car loves this cold weather. Its runs great, almost like its being boosted. BTW Sam I am eyeing up the Eaton M-90 SC that come on various domestic products. Who knows I might snag one from pullapart one day and see about fabing up the intake for it to the stock port 12A for grins.

Stealing my ideas again, eh? :P

So Stu have you ever gone looking for these at pullapart? What vehicles came with the from the factory? I know SC Tbirds from the 90s did.

The thunderbirds did. I am going to end up stealing josh's. They also came on the GTP cars from pontiac. I will try and find out all the makes and models for you in a second.

Also, I just look on ebay. They typically go for about 75 - 150. Someone in Japan has done this and apparently he is pushing almost 20lbs.

Also, the one I was bidding on sold for $90 and some change. Got outbid at the last second with an auctionsniper. I hate that thing. The SC had only 70k on it too.

Well if I can get one or two from pullapart for the price of a carb on their price sheet I'm doing it. They don't show a SC price on the sheets

The hardest part is fabbing an intake I would think. Can you sit em side ways and stack an IDA on it? Just a wild idea.
