Stu I like how you pretended to ooh and ahh like it was your first time going 110 in a car Looked like fun, when they doing it again?
Anthony it looks like the car is almost done. Loks real shiny. Think you'll make it to the next meet with it?

I didn't want to quote your post anthony because I am too lazy to remove the picture links, but WOW. I can't wait to see it in person. I saw it about a week or two ago and it looked good then, but awesome now! I must say, you have a very nice car and Dave does some very nice work!

The only problem now is the rest of us have to pay Dave for this kind of magic
I thought Sam got a good deal on his paint for the turbo FB, but I think Anthony just set the record for best deal on a great paint job. I'm looking forward to seeing the results in person.

Hey guys, Thanks for the words on his car. It does look good. My favorite shot is the side shot with the gas filler area, and the rear end with no emblems anynore Anyone remember what that gas filler quarter panel looked like before hand? That took a Looooong time for me to get it to where it is. The car is not "perfect" but it is pretty damn close I think. I need to repair one spot, then wetsand and buff. Then reassemble and get it back to Ant.
Don't worry Tim, I'll be gentle with club members
Just got back from a 7 hour drive back from TN. Didn't hit the gap like I wanted to due to the inclimate weather. I wanted to see the overlooks but they would have been all fogged in. Did a nearly 1k mile round trip in the FD. I love that damn thing. Soo much fun to drive in the mountains.
I hit a couple of "local" roads that Elizabeth grew up near in TN. 1 was a REALLY tight 2 lane that dropped straight down with 180* hairpins. Too tight for me to get into good power but still fun. The other was awsome. Very twisty but very "wide" for a 2 lane MT road. A few 180* sweepers that I could drift thru and into the next section as well. All in all a pretty fun Thanksgiving. Now taking donations to the FD tire fund

I finished up porting the housings and TII irons. I decided to go with a descent street port. I think doing a blowthrough BridgePort would be a nightmare to tune. I have most of my engine parts together. I just need to start working on intake and carb setup. Hopefully I should be picking up a TII lower this coming weekend.
I also picked up my sisters Saturn SC2 this weekend. It needs a clutch, battery, and possibly a fuel pump. The sad part is, the car has 88,900 miles. It hasn't ran in alsmost 2 years. What's really sucks is it's easier to pull the engine to change the clutch than trying to pull the trans by itself. Yeah.............
