I see no ad's... Thanks Firefox!

Lol, but yeah, if you hooked the S6 TT up to a S4 or S5, wouldn't you have to make it non seq? Not sure how much different the S4/5 is vacuum and equipment wise from the S6, but tons went in to making it sequential. Although I have heard you can boost tons for a stock port, both low and high boost

I found some TT from a 3rd gen a while back for 400$, but it had minor cracking on the turbo inlet flange, which I heard was bad, so I passed on.

I can't wait to see/hear your 2nd gen now!

Yeah they will be run non-sequential. Which in my opinion is better and more fun anyways. Vaccum stuff is rediculouse to control the twins sequentially.

No joke. I have seen the diagrams and whatnot, the engineer who did that is a genius, but holy crap.

My tie rod recently snapped causing my front right wheel to lock up mid turn which put my car into a drift and i hit a curb. The curb caused my cross member to bend very badly. Does anyone know where i can find a cheap tie rod that is not too old?

oooo sounds like what happened to me, your best bet would be to go to a junkyard and grab one off a car there, I got one off of a parts car so i could get it home. what year is your car?

The car is an 83, i am just worried that if i take one from a junk yard it will be covered in rust or it will be just as weak as the old one.

Auto X is a type of raceing that uses cones to mark the course. You then drive thru as fast as possible while maintaining car control and not hitting the cones. That's the quick explanation.

As for Saterday, anytime Sat is fine. It is really quick with the correct tools But to be safe come around 2-3. Just to be sure I don't take off early and forget

So I played around with that 12A I picked up the other day.

Good:
I spun the shaft and the front rotor has good compression on all 3 sides of the rotor.

Bad:
The rear rotor has good compression on one side some on the next and none on the last side. I think an apex seal maybe. I did pump a ton of wd40 into the rear housing to help control the moisture and rust. I could see the rust on the rotor. Also the rear housing has a gouge in the lower lip of the exhaust port that looks like a bolt went by there. The guy I bought from mention it, but he described it like it was there before the rebuid. I also noticed in the rear intake some gasket looking material stuck in there. I have no clue what that will be until I open it up.

I have my doubts but I'm sure I have a good front iron, housing and rotor so at least half the engine may be good. I may crack it open this weekend if I get time.

Oh yeah PM for Bad 83.

Hey Josh. If you get a chance. Can you post a pic of the fenderwell side of the twins with the downpipe. I just want to see how much space it takes up. I have often wonderd what a set of twins would look like on the side of a 12A

Hey Sam. Well the twins do not fit with S5 Intake Manifolds. Kinda expected that though. We are going to try my intake manifolds this weekend sometime to see if clearences are as needed. Then attack how to mate up to the 6 ports

As for room. I measured roughly from the block of a S5 to the frame rail side face to be 101/2 inches. I measured the twins with manifold $ DP to be roughly 9 1/2 inches. Should be real close. I am more concerned with the tunnel area and DP clearence. But, I am sure there will be many hurdles to clear, and it will be great once it is done. My plan is to do all the test fitting and such in stages so that Josh does not lose the use of the car until the last install.

I'll try to find some batteries for the camera and snap some shots of the turbos with DP out of the car. And then in once we get them in.

Sounds like a scored corner seal, or over warn apex seal. I have seen some apex seals reused with one side reusable and the other side not, yet still put in the motor. Not saying names, but tis why I choose to rebuild my own motors
