Holiday Laps at Virginia Int'l Raceway, Friday Dec. 8
Don't forget Holiday Laps at VIR on Friday, 12/8. A $25 donation to the Salvation Army will get you 30 minutes of track time. You can buy as many as you and your rotary can stand. If you can avoid the mustangs it'll be a great test of men and machine.
I have a guy from work who just got his wife's MR2 back in road worthy condition and he will be joining us. It is a beautiful, well kept 2nd gen model.
As usual we'll do breakfast at the Morrisville CB and caravan up to VIR and get in line for the gate opening at Noon. If you enjoy driving you don't want to miss this. Last year we all drove back to Raleigh and ate dinner together. If I remember correctly you get one free picture of your car on the track and can buy any other pics of you and your car that you like. I know we have some FDs that need to get the kinks out and some FCs that need to open their throttles and blow out the carbon. FBs, RX3s and RX8s, of course, are more than welcome to join the fun.
Think of it as cheap thrills and as a Christmas present for you and your car. Who plans on joining us for this event?

No, I think Eric and Greg are planning on going, Johny will meet us up thar. We should have a couple more RX8 drivers. I am going and Dan, my son with the Subaru Impreza WRX Sport Waggin will be driving up with us. WE should have 8-10 cars going up.
Hey Gary, Lance, Bobby, Doug & Beth any other 8 owners going up for Holiday Laps?

Count me in, I have about 500 laps at race speed under my belt at VIR, but going around that track at pace lap speed is still fun!!! My FD won't be ready in time, but I can drive up one of the Miatas.

I'm gonna try to make it, only two things that might stand in the way...
1. I'll have to take leave of course, and being there is an exercise the next week they may not give it to me...
2. Because of Christmas coming up and my family is going to be here, I actually have to buy gifts this year and not ones for my baby...
But I'm still trying/planning on making it. WOOHOO!!!!
