Hey guys, I had a great time at the rally. I thought it was a great success. Loved the driving, food, and meeting other rotary owners. I am the owner of the red '88 Turbo II.

Got up this morning, got in the '91 Accord to go to work, pulled out into the street and took off.....I suffered major withdrawal symptoms all the way to work. I only drive the turbo II once or twice a month and after Saturdays back road ride getting into the Honda and driving it was a brutal blow to my senses. Had to keep telling myself "slow down on turns and corners 'cause you're not in the 7", "no that isn't turbo lag that is no hp", etc....
Anyways, thanks to all once again who took part in this, it was a great day!

Finally got a chance to get to the Lee's slide show in email. I got an idea who our official documentarian should be. Anyone want to nominate Batguano for that position? Great job of recording the highlights of the rally, I think just about everyone that was there has asked for and received a copy of the Lee's master piece. Now all we need is a couple of helicopters and about 5 camera setups along the drive to capture that part of the rally and all would be complete! Maybe next year.
I think I'll have to watch that slide show alot. Thanks Lee and Linda for producing it. Anyone gonna burn it to a DVD or CD for posterity? Thanks Linda for letting Lee come out and play with us and it was just his first time with the group, I think he plays well with others!

thanks for making the trip up Mike. You've got a beautiful car and I think when some of the other FB owners see it it will motivate them to bring their old ladies out more often. Study hard and we'll see you on the forum when you can visit.

Great show as well, liked the music and trasition effects. Since I didn't get to go on the drive those road shots with all the rotaries on the road together were awesome. I see the Fayetteville guys finally showed up.
Thanks for sharing. What we need to do is get everyone's photos together choose the best and produce a complete show of the GRR. Next year we'll know how best to document all the happenin's. I especially liked your shots of the guys standing in the foreground with their cars behind them. I'd like to have a shot like that for everyone. Thanks. We have a higher standard now, instead of just posting pics I think we're gonna have to produce a music video!.
