Garage compressed air system.

Well since I don't have an RX-7 anymore I've got a lot more free time...lol

A few months back I posted about painting my garage floor:

Well since that project went well I decided to go on and take my garage one step further. I didn't like all the noise that my compressor made while I was working so I decided to keep it as far away from me as possible.

My solution was to run PVC piping throughout my garage. It took me about 3 days to finish it. I only worked on it for a couple of hours each night so it could be done easily in a day. I think I spent about $200 for everything (all the quick disconnects, pipe connections, tools, etc) That does not count the cost of the air compressor. I had a bigger one in mind but Sears couldn't get my order right and took freakin' for ever. To make a long story shorter, I got my folk's old compressor. It should work fine for what I need one for.

Anyway, here is the write-up:

Enjoy! The next project I've got in mind is a lift. Hopefully I can get one ordered and installed without the wife noticing. We will see! Remember it is always easier to get forgiveness than permission...

Pvc For Air=bad

Be really careful around that system when it is pressurized, the pvc will shatter sending shards everywhere if it gets struck.

You need a new rotary project so hurry up and find one. You could be like Charles and I and get you a few rotary trucks. Being a home owner a truck is always needed!
Or like Big Paul and get an old school RX.

Well, hope to see ya soon.
Chad

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATH!!! !! get out from under the rock!!! hahahaha, good to hear from you again!! ive been meaning to call you man, but things have been STUPID around here lately. i MAY be taking a job in tullahoma soon. . .

anyways, looks like youve been having fun with the new house. good to see. what about the mustang? anything new, or is it still hangin out?

chad, about that old school rx. . . im seriously thinking about getting rid of my FD and just working on NOTHING but the rx2. its getting old around here with the ls1 fd's popping up with all the people who know nothing about them. geh, i guess its just the pride speaking. i WAS considering an ls1 conversion, but its just too freaking mainstream now. . . then everyone WILL think my car is a corvette!!! hahaha, oh well. . . maybe ill put a briggs in it and attach some blades on the underside. . . mowing with style!!!!
