The car is now mine.

Yeah. Im going to be getttin the FC2000 bumper and the Sexy Style Hood sometime this summer.
The fenders are going to be the M-Sports 20mm fenders.
The rims i have now stick out an extra 12 mm from the fenders themselves.
All this "should" be done by the end of summer, i hope.

 

The only reason im doing the body over again, is because the paint is starting to get quite worn. Its orange peeling pretty bad, and there are some slight surface scratches on the clear coat. I also was clipped in the rear back in July, and it put a dime-sized dent in my rear quarter panel. It also cracked my tails. I have new tails now. The dent on the headlight cover is also pissing me off, along with pop-up headlights in general. That is the reason for wanting the new bumper.
Other than that, the car has not had much done to it. New shifter and radio surround. Along with a bov. Ill try to have new pics up by tonight, but i dont know.

 

Here are the new rims. I like the old school look they bring to the car.
BTW, Greg, how much did u want for the car when it was all put together like u had in the pics? Cuz when i found it, if u remember, it was already pretty much stripped down to nuthins. Comments on how it looks plz!

 

Damn man that car is going to be awesome with what your going to do to it. Are those work equips? i really like those rims, i was looking for some like that, i can't wait to see it with the new stuff. you should get the full kit to match though.

No, i wish, they are old-school 2pc BBS Moda rims. They are pretty clean and nice.
I plan on doing the full kit later down the road, but the front end is what im concerned about right now. Its what needs the most attention.
I def. plan on being out there sat. night on the 14th. Sounds good everybody.

The way it was when i had it i wanted $9000 but no one wanted to spend that much money on such an old car, but i had like 15k in mods in the car, i really do miss it now. Your car is goign to look sooooo nice. Except you need to start modding it some more, there is a FMIC missing there. oh yea what size/offset are those new wheels?

Yeah, i know, i want a fmic setup sooo bad, i might be buying one soon.
The rims are 17x8.5 +32, thats why they stick out soooo much in the front.

 

unless you are running HUGE tires those shouldn't stick out very much at all, those should only stick out 10mm more than what i had on there. But if you need any of those parts let me or my dad know they are all sitting at the shop.

 

They do stick out 12mm more actually.
The rims u had on there b4 were flush.
They looked sweet, but i just didnt have a job at the time when the tires were bald.
And this guy wanted to trade.
The tires are 225/45/17's.

 

They look good on there. I would have kept them because i like the old school looking rims also but i wanted something a little lighter.

 

When or if u get ur rims finished.

Also, is this meet still happening this night.

So i believe my old bushings were still good.

My mechanic would have come if his bearings hadnt been pressed in wrong.
His car will be running soon, and yes, uhhh, it will be fast .

 

Just a heads up the Gainesville raceway is having there test and tune on the road course the 14th. if you want to make a full day of track time, get together and food to top the day off. I'll post up in the Jacx thread and orlando and see if there will be any takers to show up then hang out.

1) My car took a ****, and i need new primary injectors.
2) I have to work, so i have off nights.

BTW, if ANYBODY has ANY 550cc injectors.
I need them today, car is broken in g-ville.
