I noticed a new red series 5 rx7 around UF. Seen it a couple times very clean looking.

Waiting for my check. They said my car was "totaled" even though I've been driving it every day and offered me 3k for it. I asked if I could keep the car with a clean title and just have the repair money and they said sure.

So I keep the car + a $2200 check (which is more than I paid for the car) = Great day in my book. I've already got the left front fender...not I just need to find a blue front bumper.

As soon as I have the check in hand, I'll post the vid.

Is it a convertible? I was telling Gunnar and Deo that about 2 weeks before our first meet I saw a really nice looking Series 5 vert with aftermarket exhaust heading towards campus from downtown on University. Haven't seen it since. If you see it around, slap my cell or yours on their and get him in with us.

No it was a coupe not a convertible, but I have seen the one your talking about but most the time I'm in my work van driving from one job to the next and don't have time to play stalker like you

Hey gang. I bought my 7 from Gunnar and have been running into him around town over the past month. I missed the meet at Mellow Mushroom but would like to join in on this one. I drive a flat black '86. It doesn't look great but I love 'em I'm talking with Greg(had that gorgeous blue turbo FC) about paying him to help swap it over for me. Anyone else interested in being paid to do a complete turbo swap? I don't have the tools need nor enough working knowledge to do it myself. I'd say right now that Gunnar would not be cool with people working on cars at his garage. Who's Greg? Don't think we had him at our meet the other night.

I haven't spoken to Gunnar recently due to a serious illness in the family and I've been driving out of town because of it. I'm not certain if Saturday is still on...I'll let you all know later tonight or tomorrow!

Greg wasnt there because he no longer has that car. It belongs to me now . He drives a 1JZ swapped SC300. Im tryin to get out, but i have school and work alot. So its just tough.

NO, ive just been really busy lately. Ive got a new job FINALLY. Havin a 7 with no job sucked. So now things are starting to progress. I got new rims, and am ordering my new fenders to clear the front rims soon.
I hope I can make it to one of these meets, but its rare that i EVER have off on a sat. and much less a night. Ill see what i can do.

 

Hey guys....going to push this meet off until April 14th (two weeks from this Saturday). Should be able to organize it a little better.

For Potato asking about help with a Turbo swap...I don't think Gunnar would do it so the only other person I know who would have the knowledge to do so is Holton. Spooln may know someone but you'd have to ask him!

Yea but if we go to intmo we might be forced to kill a random Ricer in the parking lot. Our first meet at the Mellow Mushroom had what? Six? Seven cars?

4 FDs, 3 FCs, and 1 FB? I guess that's eight...go counting skills. I know there are 3 - 5 other FC owners who expressed interest but were unable to make it for various reasons.

Right now plan on April 14th at Gunnar's around 6PM which is near Sonny's (Food).

You'll also be able to see my 'vert and Deo's 10th AE in various states of repair (or disrepair) and for you FC and FB owners who need parts there is always a chance Gunner may be willing to sell you something if he has it.

April 14th sounds good my ankle/foot should be better by then. I tried driving my car this past Tuesday and it hurt like crazy.
