A friend and fellow racer dies :(
I'm still in shock.
Can't believe this happened.
RIP... Friend.

R.I.P.
I get under cars everyday, you take it for granted occasionally(nothing like putting a g-wagon on a lift, short wheelbase, 6500 pound tank that wobbles the entire time you lift or drop it). Just remember when getting under a car always try to have somebody around, that way if something bad happens they will hear it or at least find out, possibly soon enough to help you.

Maybe you mean a G-van. Yes they are a bitch to lift. I prefer the drive on rack unless I have to pull wheels. However, if you take your time, and put the big ones under the humps (straight and solid), it's actually quite safe. The extra time you take with vehicles like that could mean life and death.
I work under racks every day that either sink (which is ok, since it's predictable) or the ones that lock one side when you're lowering (which sucks a LOT on an unsteady lift, but I haven't dropped one YET).
RIP, God bless his soul.
Be safe.
