We just rebuilt it and he just got it back in last week so it's still being broken in and haven't had a chance to dyno it yet. I think he'll probably swap out the turbo before he does that anyway, he's still running stock right now. That STi would be nice too! I love AWD cars.

i finally got my fc down from durham, but im not going to drive it much till i get a new clutch and brake pads.

I saw some one arount 3:00- 4:00? leaving bragg in a blue TII, has an intake lid on pass side and i think the FTP lenses were taken out. idk if he posts on here, but there was hella lot of smoke coming from the exaust when shifting and it smelled like gas when i was behind him,

any more meets soon? idk if ill be coming in the 7 for a few weeks, but i'd like to meet some local owners

Hey, count me in!
Sorry I didn't read all 6 pages of this thread, but bring me up to date! My buddy from work just bought an FC and joined this forum, and we'll join up (even if it is 2 hours away!).
Hook me up, man!

That HAD to be Victor, HAHAHAHAHA. Black wheels right? And a PR flag hanging from the rearview? That's pr soldier, Victor. We're going to Wilmington this Saturday with the folks from the Raleigh club for a British car show, with old Brit cars like Triumphs, MGs, stuff like that. Even if you don't drive the 7 you're more than welcome to go along.

Hell yeah man, come on up. Meet us in Wilmington for the car show if you want, at the Battleship. If you guys want to meet up, we usually meet in the Target parking lot, but I'm looking for somewhere better, somewhere near a restaurant like the Raleigh group. That goes for all you guys. I want to get some more members, and we can start doing drives on some curvy back roads and different events too if you guys want. That's what I've been doing with the Raleigh group and we always have fun.

I leave manana for Texas. I should know by Sunday which toy I'm going to purchase, and by next weekend whatever I buy should be on trans and in route. Are there any decent shops in the local area? Whichever way I go, I need a reliable place to drop the car off at on my next outing to the field for a big single If I go with the FD, expect a race ported T04R powered gokart by the 1st of '07

There is going to be a convoy, I'll probably try to meet up with the Raleigh group on the intersection of 40 and 95, that's where I met them last year. Actually, I just happened to meet them at another exit where I stopped to get food since I couldn't get ahold of them and figured I'd be making my own way down there. Low and behold, as I'm leaving Hardee's, there they are filling up at the gas station across the street. And this wasn't JUST off the exit, it was a few miles down the road, haha. REALLY weird. But I'll let you know what we're doing for sure.

You didn't figure out we had to retask a KH-11 eye in the sky to find you? We had it on IR and had no trouble finding your rotary engine. We also cross checked our target for high CO emissions and verified that there was no other machine that could produce what we saw on the CO scan of southeastern NC. It was like turning on 200Kcp search light in the desert on a moonless night. You really don't beleive in coincidence do you?

Bert, what the hell are you talking about? HAHA. I assume you're talking about when we met up last year for this trip, haha. Until I re-read what I wrote, you had me completely lost. Kinda like the refueling procedures, haha.

Eric you got to get away from the FD and get some fresh air! I even quoted your post in the reply. Yes sir, more fresh air for you, keep your windows rolled down and don't follow any rotaries in traffic.

See you tomorrow when we get to I-40 if you don't come up to Smithfield. I was going thru some stuff looking for some interior parts I'd ordered from Mazdatrix last spring and found a couple of RRDI shirts that hadn't been picked up or sold. One is a long sleeve but its a size 3X and the other is a medium short sleeve shirt, neither one is in your size though. I know you said the large didn't fit.

Yeah I had to read what I wrote before to see what you were talking about, haha. My smoke does smell funny actually, I'm not sure what's wrong with it. Hell yeah I'm down for that 3X long sleeve shirt, how much is it? I'll bring the money tomorrow. And yeah the boys and I are meeting you guys at CB, at 8am right?

We interrupt this thread to bring you the following anouncement.

Here's the deal folks, Just got back from the MSCCNC meeting. There's going to be 10 national level instructors at this event. You'll get at least 12 runs during the day. Lunch is paid for. For the price you can't afford to miss this.

http://www.msccnc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1036

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

Eric, when are you guys doing the meets down there. I'd drive down there for one for the fun of it to see what's going on and meet the guys.

It's not really on a set schedule right now Greg, just kind of here and there when we think we might be able to get a few people out there. I'll let you know when we have the next one.

Hey, this is Traun from Fayetteville and I am a friend of MoonIll and a member of ImportsNC. I'm the one buying his 87 base model RX7. The only info I can give you about Cumberland Rotary is is that the guy who runs it only pops up on occasion on weeknights and some weekends because he has another job on Fort Bragg. But I'm still trying to establish contact between him so once I do, I'll be sure to let you guys know what's up. Hope to see some of you at the meet this Saturday.

Traun, like from the Chappelle Show? Had a hot hand at the dice game huh? Haha. Sorry, I'm not trying to make fun of you or anything, just in a funny mood right now. Yeah as soon as you catch up with the guy let me know. His shop is on Murchison right? I might make it to the meet but I'm not sure yet.
