Hey guys. I live in Orlando, FL, but my girlfriend just moved to Oxford not to long ago. I've been up to NC to visit her, and the next time I head up I think I might bring my FC for the trip. I'm moving up there in June, and im just kinda getting used to the area for now. Fayetteville, thats where the streets of southpoint mall is at right?
Anyway though, I was wondering if it'd be alright with you guys if I dropped in and came to one of the meets, Since im gonna be moving there soon, I figure why not get to know some people.

Hell yeah man, the more the merrier. We're still kinda trying to get it kicked off at this point. I met one more person the other night at the mall, but he's not on the forums. So there's only a few of us that have showed interest to this point. I don't believe Streets of Southpoint Mall is here (never heard of it actually), but it may not be too far away. This is where Ft Bragg and Pope AFB are, all military almost. But stop on by if you want. PM me when you're on your way up and I'll give you my number.

^ Hey man if you wanna save the gas, you could always just stop by the RRDI in Rawley. Check out the Sat. in Raleigh thread.
Hey Eric, I was in Fayettville today, sorry I couldn't make it by...I had an appt at Bragg. I didn't even see one other rotary the entire 2 hrs I was there. Kinda sad.

Dammit Nic, we're still recruiting, why are you trying to take my guys!? This is still Rush Week! Haha. Damn, I never even went to college, and now I'm talkin' like I'm all learned and ****. Yeah RRDI would probably be your best bet The fast, they're a good group of people. I just get tired of driving up there every couple weekends, and they have YET to come down and see US, but we won't go there right now, haha.
That's crazy you didn't see a rotary Nic, there are a million 8's running around down here, and quite a few 7's on base even.
Hey The fast, I got a question...you say you've been on here for a year now...but your join date says Aug 2006, what's the deal? lol

Hey I'm in Fayetteville too? My FC isn't running right, it dies after idle, but I don't want to put any money into it since I've got a friends who said that he's going to buy it for $600.
But hell, I still like RX-7's and live in Fayetteville, so how often do you guys meet up? I'm more than sure I've seen a few of you around Fayetteville. For a fact I've seen:
A shiny Blue FC (not sure if it was TII or not), but it had a PR flag
A shiny red FC TII
A dark green FD (two I belive)
A bright red FD
A white FC vert
Then there is one I've seen on my campus, it was a clearcoated faded red. Yea
I wish I had the money to own a RX-7, but unfortunetly I don't :*( (odd cause neither does the friend I'm selling it to (??)).
I'm heading out, but I'll check back on this thead later.

And I did see an 8...but it was on 95 right before I turned off on 13 to go to Goldsboro. Didn't get a good look at it since I passed by it at a 115! haha
I plan on heading back down for a meet, just give me a time and a placed! Oh, by the way, there is an open invitation, to any of you Fayetteville rotary owners, to head out with the RRDI on a road trip down to Wilmington for the Brits and Battleship car show Nov 4th. Update...I finally got the downpipe in last night. Victor helped me remove the stock pre-cat Wed night. We snapped off one of the studs, and I attempted to get it out last night and failed, so I just used a dremel and took a chunk out of the area where that nut would be going and put a slim nut on there, haha. It seems to be working fine though, although I can smell the RTV sealant burning, but that should be gone before too long. I think I notice a little faster response, and can definitely tell it's more free-flowing. I think the pre-cat was clogged. And I noticed my boost jumped up to about 9psi and I still have the boost leak of course. The pre-cat weighed in at a hefty 21 lbs, while the new one weighed a scant 7 lbs. I wish I could drop pounds that fast and easily! Haha.

And I have a dark green FD with a shitty carbon fiber hood, 1 black "eyelid" and Enkei RPF1 wheels. You're more than welcome to come out. I was planning on changing the meeting place to in front of the old Sam's Club on Morganton and Skibo, but if we do that we'll have to meet much earlier cause I was driving by the other night and all the parking lot lights were turned off, so we can either meet earlier on Saturdays or just keep the meeting spot in the Target parking lot, or if anyone has a better idea I'm open to suggestions. I think wherever it is though, 5pm Saturday is a good time to meet. So for now let's say 5pm this Saturday in the Target parking lot on Skibo. From there we can plan a little better what we want to do.

So, how did the meet turn Eric? Got any pics? Keri asked me if I wanted to go down there but it was already 5pm! I guess I'll see you next weekend...bring your crew to Wilmington. We could combine and make it the NC Rotary Drive-In! haha

It was alright, just three cars again. The guy I met at the mall last weekend, Tomas, showed up with his red FD. It's pretty nice. I think there's a good chance he'll be making it down to Wilmington next weekend but we'll see. I don't have any pics, I forgot my camera, haha. I did take a few with my phone but they're not that great, it's a phone for cryin' out loud. I thought you were gonna say we could combine and make it VOLTRON!!! Oh wait, did they use RX-7s or lions, I can't remember? lol

Do you all know anything about Cumberland Rotary on Murchison Rd?
Any, I wanted to let you all know about the ImportsNC meet on the 11th of Nov. Some of us are going to meet at Rack Room's parking lot and roll up together.

Great...
I've owned multiple 7s in the past, 2 supras, and multiple other cars ranging from turbo imports to stroked, blown, and sprayd domestics, all the way up to lifted trucks. I just sold my 97 stroked/sprayed GT, and am traveling back out to texas in the next week or 2 to purchase either another 7 or another supra...both are owned by the same middle-aged gentleman. He is the original owner of both vehicles, and both have low miles. So we'll see what happens
In the meantime, has it been established yet who on this post has the quickest/fastest street driven car?

Well, we haven't really raced, but of the two of us that have actually made it to some meets and have posted in this thread, probably Victor's bridgeported FC, haha. You just wait though Victor, BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Haha. Anyhoo, so MontegoTT, are you down for joining us sometime? That is, if you get the 7. I mean, you're more than welcome to come out if you get the Supra, but you might not get as much out of it, haha.

I'd definately say that there is a pretty good chance I'll be up for some playtime as long as I'm not off playing army in the woods. Truth by told I'm completely undecided as to what I want to do right now. My brother called tonight and his neighbor is selling an 05 STi with 1150 miles on it. Bone stock, garage kept, etc. So many choices. At this point I may just buy another vette and be done with it...too bad there's no room for a f*cking rucksack!
Bridgeported FC, eh? What numbers has he put down?
