Yes, you can't go wrong here. Great guys and some of the most knowledgable rotary mechanics and tuners around. I take my car to them and the experience has been outstanding. For those of you needing rebuilds, this is the place to go.

Now if only allrotor93 would get his crappy 3 rotor done we could go out and have some fun - you guys are going to have to see his car. One of the nicest ones out there

They don't have a dyno yet but they have one of the best tuners in the business running the shop. I just got sponsored by Haltech and they are installing and the tuning my car with the Haltech PS 2000.

There is a dyno close by and that is what they currently use.

Jon, where is your shop located? And who's doing your tuning?

I'm going to need some tuning in the coming months.

So do you guys work on all rotor engines, like say S3's in an FB??

I think I work with a guy named Curtis that somehow knows you folks. His friend has a white FC, and he kept telling me about these guys that just opened a new shop on airport road.

Jon is one of my favorite people to do business with. He and I started off a little rocky a few years ago due to some miscommunication and he made the effort to clear it up in person at DGRR a few years ago.

Since then we've sold parts back and forth to each other numerous times and I'd say he is one of the top 3-5 sellers of used FD Parts on the forum including Fritz Flynn, DJSeven and myself.

Great to have someone with Jon's reputation being involved with a shop in that area of the country.

Just a heads up but there is a guy here in Columbia, SC that is claiming the picture of the 3 FD's above is of his shop called Butler Performance. Sad that people try to claim **** that isn't there own. Even worse is he argued with me over and over that it is his shop even know I know the truth and even showed him this thread to prove him wrong.

Here is a link to his FB account: http://www.facebook.com/danny.butler.9849?fref=ts

He also tried to claim he built this:

It's been all over magazines and had a major feature in Super Street. http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea...d/viewall.html

Wow...what a scumbag...and a joke. I just looked at his FB Page. Hahah. He's got a picture of Mariusz Pudzianowski that he seems to be playing off as his own also. My favorite part of the above post is if you read the article, it tells you the shop that built the RB26 FD is in Wisconsin. A Miami local said this kid is a VW crowd poser lol. God Bless the internet.

Hey - Sent you a PM. PM me back with a phone number. My car is sick, and I'm thinking a rebuild is in it's future. Would be nice to get it built local.

Thanks!

Who's car is that with a RB26 in it? I built an RB26 back in 2007 and had the valve covers and everything powder coated that same color blue. I was going to put it in my 350Z, but later scrapped that project to buy my current FD and sold the engine (freshly built) to a guy who was going to put it in an RX-7. Wonder if it is the same engine???

I recently contacted Jon about a car he had built several years ago and sold. I bought the car and was trying to get a little more info about it and he was very nice in helping me gather some specs on the car. Seems to be a good guy and I am about 4-5 hrs away so might have to make the trip one of these days.
