i haven't changed the starters out yet. tho it does seem to need it here and there. but it starts up every time now. knock on wood. but ive been driving it all day and its doing just fine. i just went back and checked all the connections and whatnot and i guess the injectors weren't plugged in all the way. i jumped it off w/ the honda by revving it for like 5mins. its started on its own about 20 times now no hesitation.

You ain't kidding! OMG, I still haven't heard the end of it!

Lacy wants to know where's her award for putting up with the three of us and especially for surviving the slaying of the dragon... i.e. ME
Correction, not the 28th of May as that's not even a weekend... I was thinking the 19th - 20th of May.

Anyone up for this?

Good point, But it usually take 1/4 tank to get to work and back. And the last 2 days of work I only used A C#@T Hair more than a 1/4 tank and drove around in town a while. Im still on the same gas I filled up with at Fontana Lodge for $3.44 a gallon. Maybe it was really worth the money after all LOLX2

What are we going to do with you?? That may work, but I told the guy that I bought the lsd from the 28th, he's out of town til the 25th. He is interested in going, should have his completely redone GSL-SE ready by then. Maybe the first week of June, that would put Lacy off work again right?

LMFAO! Did you find a loose vac line or something when you put your steering belt back on? I think you said you tightened all the belts up before you went, maybe that helped? I dunno, weird for sure. But a good weird!!

LOL i was looking at the wrong month when I said the 28th

So you're suggesting June 2nd. That works for me and she'll be off that weekend as well. So, yea let's set the date for then.

Something to note, is that the Massachusetts Dragon Riders 3rd Annual Assault on the Dragon - Headquarted at The TreeTops are scheduled for June 2-9th.

DOH!
I don't really care when we go, I just told Carlos it would be the 28th and he seemed interested in going.

I'm missing the e-brake cable on this rear end! Its longer than the one for the drums!! I'm now researching the possibility of just swapping out the pumpkins and keeping the drums on for now. I've just PM'd Carlos to see if he has the cable. Upgrading them to disc isn't that huge of a deal anyway but it does make them a hell of a lot easier to change pads rather than shoes. If the axles are the same I can do this. The hitch is that they switched from a smaller axle to a larger one in late '83, and I'm not sure what qualifies as "late"! I am just going to pull one axle on the car tomorrow and count the teeth, cross your fingers that there's 26, not 24! I already pulled one from the rear I got today and its got 26. I was under the car today looking at the brakes and I noticed some oil leaking from behind the driver's side drum. Looks like its time for some new rear bearings!

Yup, paypaled them today so maybe they will ship tomorrow. Doubt I will have them until next week though since they are in Cali.

I also got this on the way, I just need to find a **** for it now. The miata ones I see are 6 speed and I've got a 5.

Yeah but they are the rear.... disc there is nowhere near as important as the front so its not really all that much of an upgrade. Hopefully he has the cable. Oh yeah I forgot to throw in that just swapping the pumpkin will keep me from having to blast the rust off of and repaint the rear I got today.

The RX7 version for my car of that shifter is $180+. I'll just shave 1mm off that bottom bearing of the EXACT same piece for the miata, thank you!

Do not have one ready available but can get you one real soon, by next week anyhow. Send me your address and I'll shipped them my cost.

Hey man, I was looking at the assembly I got from you today after I got home and realized that it doesn't have the emergency brake cable. According to some threads on the forum you need to grab that cable when upgrading to the LSD. Do you happen to have it? Please let me know.
Thanks!
