College Football is back!!
Football is back! For anyone interested there is an annual comp(see rules below). PM me or Email me at evot23@gmail.com if you want in have questions, etc.
There is a cap so email me to spot in.
130 tokens for the season paypaled to me (members on this forum can vouch for me but if you are still worried, then don't play). I make no money, I just discount my entry for working the numbers.
Weekly payouts (13 weeks of fun) and overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd at the end. (last year 165 paid weekly with overall 1st bringing 1410, 2nd 705, 3rd 235.
NO REFUNDS...ONCE YOU START..YOU ARE IN
To keep it ROTARY related, I will have separate end of season winner for rotary guys only. No extra monetary prize but a rotary prize (to be determined but with value of at least $75)
RULES:
-Each week the 8 best college games are picked and sent out along with the point spreads (always include 1/2 point in order to avoid ties).
-Picks will be due by NOON each Thursday in order for me to have time to combine into master sheet and distribute sheet to all of you prior to kick off of the Thursday night game.
-IF YOUR PICKS ARE LATE, YOU FORFEIT YOUR 8 POINT GAME FOR THURSDAY AND WILL BE ABLE TO PICK ONLY THE 7 SATURDAY GAMES.
-I pick the games based on a number of criteria: UF and FSU will almost always be in (majority of participants attended one or the other), games between 2 ranked teams, nationally televised games, rivalry games etc.
-You will pick each game against the spread and submit your picks using the spreadsheet I send out each Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning.
-Favorites will be listed on the left with the amount of points by which they are favored underneath. Home teams will be in ALL CAPS
-You will also assign each of your picks a "confidence value" between 1 and 8, using each number once. Total possible each week is 36 points.
-8 points will go on your most confident pick, 1 point on your least confident (exactly like the bowl pools you've probably done in the past)
-You then receive points for the games you pick correctly.
-For instance, if you get 4 games correct and they were your 7, 6, 3 and 2 point games, your score for the week would be 18.
Weekly winners and then aggregate totals on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and rotary only guys will have overall winner.
