Chattanooga clubs?

Here!!!
I'm new to the rotary scene. But I am in Chattanooga, so if there is a get together, I want in.
And is one of the Dave's in this thread the infamous "Donut Dave"? If so, I know who you are. (think Autocrossing a truck)

I'm Dave, But have never been "Donut Dave" as far as I know.
I figured it might be a good idea for us locals to post pictures of our cars. . . so we know when we see each other. . . Also The specific area in which we dwell.
I spend 80% of my time in South Redbank, technically North-Chattanooga. I frequent downtown and Hixson. Most of the time I'm driving that **** Saturn in the background. . . although on pretty days you might see me in the RX7. The registration is out of date (expired) in 05. . . but I still drive it around (Yes its insured). Actually, I've still got the older-style tags so I stick out like a sore thumb, hence why I don't drive it that often. Yes its emissions related.

Let me know where and when and I'm there.
I'm not sure. The website I have is called the Chattanooga Region Solo II http://www.rivergate5speed.com/scca/soloii/index.html
But, it has not been updated for 09 yet. . . last entry is in December.
RotaryCelica knows a lot more about the events than me, so maybe he will read this and let us know.

Well since this is the only Chattanooga based thread. . . lets try this:
Who wants to actually successfully meet for once?
If that doesn't work, I'll try some PM's.

March 28 is a test and tune event, and on Sunday, the 29, is a normal event. We have not had a confirmation from either Chatt. state, or Dade Co., but it will likely be at Dade co. When our venues are confirmed, we will post on the website the new schedual. We are always on the look-out for alternate or better locations to hold events, so if anyone knows a nice big parking lot, please let me know, and we'll check it out.
--As far as meeting, let me know when and where, and I'm all over that, as long as I'm not working.

I'm glad to see rotary-celica on the board. I've riddin with you at Chatt. state a couple of times, I wanted to let everybody else know that it is a frekin awesome rotary swap. I'm the guy that raced the blue dakota pick up.
--As for all of us meating up, why don't we all just meet at the Autocross on March 29. The location is still unconfirmed, but likely at Dade county High school. (15 min. from downtown Chatt.) With a bunch of 7's it'll intimidate the Miata guys. Plus, anyone who wants to participate can, if not, that's cool, watching's free.

Just got confirmation that Dade County High School has confirmed. March 28- Test and tune, then Sunday March 29 is the event. Registration 8-10 a.m., first car off about 11:00
--I think this would be a good place to meet, and the non-7 owners in the club are still gearheads that will truly appreciate the 7.
It's only about 20 min. from down town, Go South on I-59 (towards Birmingham) Take 2nd exit (I forget which #, but its the same as Cloudland Canyon state park)
--Turn left, Right at intersection with hwy 11 (you can't go straight, unless you want to go to the grocery store) then Left at first light (hwy 136)
--The school is 1/3 mi. on your right.

This weekend, I ran into two other local RX7 owners, and spread the news about us. They both said they would come to The Dade auto-cross, so that's 6 confirmed. Everyone has been talking about setting up a regonized local club. Anybody know how to do that? Or, could we use this forum, and be a "Chattanooga Area Chapter"? Any info on the subject would be helpfull.
