I'll try and work out something. Maybe i can pick you up Reese or caravan with someone so i don't loose my mind.
Might as well drive it. Why else did you buy it, to let it sit in a garage so that no else in the world can appriciate it's elegance and beauty. I drive mine when I can and even though my head lights don't don't have the covers I still let them know whose boss of the highway (except for the cops you know how that works out when you try to race them) and the people walking around downtown king street as I rev up and ppphhhhhsssssssshhhhhhhaaaaaaaahh!!
BANG!!!!
LOL
OR there will be that one time when some runs a light or stop sign and smacks you, and find out later that you won't ever have her boostin again.

if i get everything square on it i'll for sure drive it down June or July. The engine is out and its getting power coated red and black, if everything goes to schedule i'll bring it in June but definitly put me down for July. There's some efini stuff that needs to be installed and i just put a 1995 front on it with the clear lenses. So its all about it being ready to go pickup and drive. Trust me i rather be driving it than it sitting @ RX7World. But when the labor is free, what can ya do? But seriously i need to make a meet before i move to TX on July 15th. Let's just hope both cars pass emissions

if i get some info on it i will try to come and do some runs even though the clock might start over and clear by the time i get to the end line..im trying to get my friend to bring his sr 240 but he has bold rear tires (just from driving not burning out on purpose) and his power steering pump got cracked so he is taking it back to teh worst shop ever AGAIN
#39
well rusty tell your friend that he doesnt need power steering because it is a straight line, also his tires would work out good for him. Anyways, the strip opens at 6:30 and races start at 7. It is 15 dollars to race. Also this is the one in moncks corner, by cyprus gardens. If you guys have any questions call me 296-5625 we can all meet somewhere first if you want. I plan on getting there early so i can get alot of runs in.

(I did my oil change at the base hobby shop while on a lift)
Well I was changin my oil right after work andgetting it ready for the track, when lightning hit, within 30 seconds it started pouring and well I figured the track will be closed. While I wsa doing my oil change I noticed one of my coolant hoses were leaking. I replaced the hose, after draining the coolant that is. well I started to put every thing back together when I figured why I was leaking coolant so often. it was because of my heater core, it got messed up. well decided to bypass the core. so hoses got redirected. I tried to put the raidiator drain plug back in and after about 2 and a half turns realized it was cross threading tried to take it out and well snapped, that's when I flipped. The guy at the hobby shop told me they were starting to close down in 30 minutes.I was starting to panic that I wouldn't have a ride home and have to walk in the rain. I told him I had a problem with the plug and he asked my if I had another plug. I'm like "Yeah, let me pull it out your ***". So doing what I could with the threads sticking out so far, I drove the car home, took 50 minutes where it would normally take 5 . but having to refill the coolant while it was raining and then shutting it down while rolling the repeating the process sucked, just to get it home. anyway so I'll be working on getting either the broken bolt or ordering a new and larger radiator.
OFF TO WORK ON THE FD, or kill it some more.

Hey, check out my new fc!
http://www.geocities.com/gtu89rx7/88SE.html
I bought it off of samdu on the performanceconcepts forum. After replacing the belts, it runs pretty good. Its kindof hard to start, doesnt that mean low compression?
Nieto - that sucks. I had a similar problem with this car when i was flushing the coolant today. I ended up stripping the drain plug head, so now i cant get it off. Sweet.

I'm actually trying to drill the plug out with my dremel only it's one of those dremels that has a battery so I'm having to wait for a charge on it for atleast 50 minutes before I can use it again. the bit I have is so worn that it just takes me that much longer
congrats on your purchase of a new FC (new to you that is)
