CFT - Awesome job on my car !!!

Just thought I'd tell you about the experience I had at CFT - Central Florida Turbo.

My car had a bunch of little things wrong with it that I was putting off for a while. I had a hard time finding a shop that I felt could produce quality work/labor/installation. The following had to be done:

1. FMIC Installation
2. Diff mount install
3. SS Oil Cooler lines install
4. New rotors and pads
5. Battery Relocation
6. Mystery Vacuum Leaks

So after taking into consideration all my options, I narrowed it down to GATO and CFT. Being that GATO is about an hour away from here I decided on CFT as I have heard nothing but good things about Javier, the installer/fabricator their.

Well July 18 I was told to bring my car there the next day. July 19 I have my car tyowed there (my oil cooler lines were shot), and I was told that I couldn't leave it there because there were to many cars and not enough storage spots for mine. Well after talking for about 10 minutes Javier and Fernando (another person at the shop) figured it out and I left it there.

I had a strict deadline, and needed it done by July 27 as I am moving to south florida on the 30th and have the mazdameet on the 28.

Javier says it would take one day which I then laugh at knowing at whats instore for him with the diff mount and lines alone.

A few days go by and a decide to drop in and check on the progress .. well it was started, the tmic was taken off lol. So I shrug it off and wait a few more days.

I'll be honest I was a bit nervous because it is an RX7 and they are a pain in the *** to do anything on. But I received a few phone calls from Carlos, an RX7 specialist at CFTm (I didnt even know they had one) and he talked me through what they were doing in such a way that I knew he knew what he was doing (He has also won 4 national championships in his 85 RX7)

After a few more days anxiouslly go by I was called and told my car was ready at 9:30 AM today (July 27). I was ecstatic, they kept the deadline! I went to pick her up and everything LOOKS GREAT!!

CFT went above and beyond what I had asked them to do. The installation of all the parts is great and I turned my car on and she purred right up. They fixed stuff that I didnt even know was wrong .. like missing bolts, a leaking block off plate, various other items.

They gave me a bit of **** because of what a PITA it was to do the work .. but then we laughed it off as I explained to them that I had no interest in doing any of it all .. thats why they had it lol

Anyway the total labor and charges came out to 250 above the initial estimate .. thats the only thing I was a bit ehhh about. I would have liked to discuss that ahead of time, but oh well what can you do. I'm happy and everything looks great.

For those of you looking for a shop ... I HIGHLY RECOMEND CENTRAL FLORIDA TURBO!!!!
