Bushing Install in Carolinas Area
#2
Are you talking suspension bushings? If so, they are quite easy to do yourself if you have the following:
Air impact wrench/compressor (not required but a life saver)
Auto parts store that rents tools for free
Mapp gas torch (used for brazing copper pipes)
I did my whole 1st gen car in a few hours (car was apart for a re-speed steering upgrade) but only takes an afternoon to do. Are you looking for help as a DIY, or looking for a shop to do it all for you?
I'm sure someone might be able to help you if you bring the arms to them and pick up a $6 gas cylinder from home depot and rent the press. If not, I'm hoping someone can recommend a shop for ya!
If your looking for a shop, call your local auto repair shops that can do transmission and or/ axle bearing replacements. They should have whats necessary tool wise. The task is not difficult, just time consuming.
Good luck!
