Whoever recomended this jerk to build an `84 GSL-SE needs their head examined. I`ve never seen a more incompetent "mechanic" in my life. Apparently he thinks others are as stupid as he. I was told my engine would look as new with new vacuum lines, belts, wiring, sensors, etc. Imagine my surprise to find the same old parts (even the dust was not disturbed) non-matching plug wires that were on there when I had it towed from Augusta to Atlanta area (about 200 miles) same hoses, cracked and dry, and when it idled erratically I was told it needed a new TPS, and the reason the oil pressure was at less than 5lbs was it needed a new gauge, there was no excuse for no wipers or taillightts or stoplights, even tho I had sent extra money and instructions to find and fix anything needed on the car. $6,000 later I got this piece of crap who`se only saving grace was that it was a pretty good paint job. The oil cooler was held in place on one side with tie-wraps, when I turned on the vent to clear the windows in the inevidebile rain storm an entire rats nest blew all over the window and me. I`d better stop here or I`ll be sued for slander. I`m seiously considering a suit to recoupe my money. Anyone else had a problem with this guy? I know where he lives.......

I'm with ya, man. I've been scared off from a few shady dealings with him, but I will say he's got lots of good parts.

If he has some good parts it would be to his advantage to use them. I don`t know how this engine runs with all this old stuff on it. The tags said 1999 and I believe that was the last time it ran. How do you replace a clutch and not the throw-out bearing? Or pilot bearing? I hope I have a good oil pump. The oil cooler was held in place with tie-wraps. This guy works at Mazda as far as I know and he says he had no bracket to hold it up. All the seals and rubber on the doors were cracked and dry and keeps the windows from operating correctly yet I must go buy and install them. I`ll never pay someone in advance again. $6,000 down the drain. I`ll need to get most stuff redone and therefore the suit...

I know him also, I have actually bought parts and a car from him (second gen). The parts were expensive, but I never got a bad part from him... However, the car I bougth from him was a mistake. I had dealt with him multiple times before so when I went to look at the car, and he said it was fine, I bought it on the spot in cash... Well the car wasnt fine... Smoked heavily on cold startup (oil smoke). Also, had a bad air pump (insane vibration above about 4k rpm's) and a broken tab off of the top of the water pump that would start rattling about the same time that the air pump would start vibrating... needless to say I was PISSED when the car didnt perform as he had claimed and tried to talk to him about it... He merely said if I bring it back he would try to cut me a deal on fixing it... I told him to shove it and fixed it myself...

I also know where he lives, hell my girlfriend lives about 5 miles down the road... I wont ever do business with him again without thoroughly going over whatever it is I am trying to acquire...
