But seriously, yeah you did extremely well stopping, but in my rear view mirrow... it didn't look like you were going to! By the way, I meant to ask you... how did your passenger handle that... adventure?
If she brings the three that I'm thinking of...

I dunno he was talking about opening a tae kwan do studio or something. I guess that depends on the skill of the squirrel, though, and how many beers Tray has in him when it all goes down.
Fkn A hell yeah about the girls, dude! Its sad how sparse the ladies are at these events.

Freebasing mountain roads
The Dragon was a unique adventure, It was the first time she and I where in the same car for any length of time in years. She just about crawled into the floorboard when you stopped After hearing her **** about my driving for a few hours I finally said **** it, and did a 3rd to 2nd drop and just walked the car around the whole curve sideways and she shut up lol. To this day, she wont get back into the car with me. Oh well, I had fun and she should have known what we where there to do. Tray, DO NOT put the squirrels nuts in your mouth

Lacy had a great time... except when I was entering and exiting the turns.

I don't know about you, but I have been following the dgrr thread and that stuff Phil said about making a profit, and then also asking for "volunteers" seems a bit much. He's whining about not wanting to do it, but then he's making $ on it so wtf? I can't imagine it would be much for us to get the banquet hall, especially if we're filling it with people who are buying meals from them. IDK, with all the leos and this whining bit its kinda turning me off to going.

No problem.
Ok Ok. But my stories sometimes get long and kinda out of hand, so i'll provide cliffnotes at the end for the those who don't wanna read a lot. lol
I was on my way to visit my parents for Thanksgiving last year. I was going Northbound on I-85 just outside of Charlotte, NC. The speed limit there is 60 mph. I was in the left lane crusing about 75 - 80. Which is actually what everyone else was doing too. I came up behind this guy hogging the left lane doing 50!!! Now that'll **** ya off! So i can't pass him, because there is soooo much traffic that is flying by us on the right, and he refuses to get over when there is an opening.
Soooo, there is finally a break in the traffic, and I decided not to wait anymore and see if he'll move. As we are going up a hill, I gunned it around him, and as soon as i got by him, my radar detector gave the signal for a laser device. OH ****! Slammed the breaks, but it was too late. My radar detector was at that point in time mearly a "ticket indicator".
I went over the hill at the speed limit, and saw the "wolfpack". They got me AND everyone that was behind me who was tired of being behind what I am now convinced was a "bait" car. There is no other explanation for that car being there, going that slow. Wasn't even a usual crown vic, which is probably why it was perfect for the job.
Cop comes to my window, and i'm polite. Asks me the usual, "Do you know why you were pulled over?" I SWEAR, next time a cop asks me that, i'm gonna say, "I dunno, is it cuz of the 17 kilos of cocaine in my trunk?" Just for the hell of it. Anyway, i gave the standard NO answer. He told me "You were clocked with a laser speed detection device going 80 in a 60. Did you know you were going that fast." I said, "uhhh, no." He asked for my license and registration and I obliged him. You all know how long this part takes. He came back with them and my ticket. Gives my stuff back and takes one last look at the ticket and says, "****". He then pulls my license and registration back out of my hands and storms back to his car. I suppose he made a huge mistake on the ticket, and had to re-do EVERYTHING. So i'm sitting on the side of the road in Charlotte rush hour traffic all of which is on the way to wherever for Thanksgiving. He finally comes back with my *new* ticket and is very i dunno how to put it... "grouchy" i guess. Remember, I've been nothing but polite. I sign and take my things he tells me to be careful, I say, "Ok, officer, have a good Thanksgiving." He looks at me, snears, rolls his eyes, and goes back to his patrol car and drives off. *******!
I've had a few tickets, but that was the first on my new SC Driver's License. So I hire an attorney, cuz I didn't think I had a snow-ball's chance on my own simply because I know my driving record. The attorney recommends that we ask the judge for a "Prayer for Justice Continued" (PJC) which basically puts that ticket on hold for 3 years, after that it is void because i've been good, UNLESS i'm convicted of another offense of the same nature anywhere in NC, then I get BOTH tickets at the same time. I agreed, and the judge granted the request.
A couple of months later, I got a letter in the mail from the SC DMV. I have no idea why, but they sent me a copy of my driving record. ALL CLEAN! No accidents, no tickets, no warnings, NO POINTS! So, it appears that somehow when I got my license in SC, they lost track of my previous driving history! Sweet!
So now, I have almost 2 years left on my PJC and the ticket will be thrown out as long as I don't get convicted of another ticket in NC. AND, as far as the State of SC is concerned, i'm and angel on the roads. So, that's why I personally stay out of NC as much as possible. It minimizes the chances of me getting another ticket there. When I am in NC, I am VERY, VERY, VERY careful.
