ATTN: Cleveland County and Shelby, NC

Hey,

Cool thing happened today on my way to work. To bad I didn't drive my RX-7 Today. I saw TWO yes 2 1st gen RX-7s !!! I never see any other RX-7s in the Shelby area - much less 1st gens - but today I saw 2 !!! One was painted gray and was on West Stage Coach Trail in Polkville. I saw it as I was pulling out of my house. The other was close to Crest High School, but I don't remember what road it was on. It was painted black.

Now I come the real purpose of this thread. All of the RX-7 club members that are in Cleveland County please speak up and post here. Also, any one from the surrounding area is more than welcome to post here - NC and SC. (i.e. Rutherford County, Gaston County, Cherokee County, etc, etc)

I'll Start us off:

Name: Adam
Car(s): '79 RX-7 and '94 Mazda MX-6 LS
Location: Shelby/Polkville, NC

I've got a black 85.
It spends all it's time in Charlotte but it is registered in Kings Mountain, does that count?

Maybe we're the only computer literate, rotary savy Cleveland county residents.

I've got 2. A black 93 R1 and a white 85 GS. Both of them make the trip up towards Rock Hill on a pretty regular basis just to keep in touch with the mechanic.

There is a guy working in Sears that drives a black one he lives in Gaffney.
If you ever see him on the road sugestions dont even waste gas becouse he got more power in it than a lot of 13B that are around here.

That would sound great if just we could get it organized. Theres is a shop in Greer that will have a dyno hopefully by august or so we could do a little drive in at a local burger joint and then head over there for a dyno day or something.

Yep 9:30ish! I have to be at work here at QS/1 Data Systems at 10:00 AM. I was driving my black Mazda MX-6. I drive it to work the most since it is better on gas than my '79 12a. I guess it is a small world. I gave her the "thumbs up" and she did the same.
