Anyone in SE area need a good beater... 1988 Toyota Celica..
This is the first car I've ever owned and modified.
1988 Celica GT Blk/Blk.
Bought it in 1993 with 94K miles
Mileage: 220+K
Engine was rebuilt back in 97 and put about 60K miles since.
Car hasn't been driven in about 2 years... Just been sitting on my driveway.
I cleaned it up, replaced the battery, and the car cranked right away!
I have the following stuff put in over the years..
1. Cusco strut bar - $300+
2. Koni yellow adj. - paid 350 for 2
3. Tokico rear struts - paid 200 or so
4. 17x7 Fittipaldi 5 spokes w/ tires (80% left) - paid over 2k from Tire rack (I even have a spare)
5. New drilled rotor - $150
6. Convertible top cover (tonuea cover) - I have two - paid $250 for one and other came from a spare convertible I bought 5 years ago.
7. Car cover - paid $100 for new cover
8. front bra - paid $50 or so from ebay - still new
9. Factory service manual - $50
10. Factory electrical manual - $35
11. Factory electric diagram - $25 or so
12. recovering the seats - $1000
13. Front FG bumper - $600 or so
14. New paint (paited in 98-99) - $2k
15. Suspension tech springs - $250 (installation - additional 150).
16. Custom alignment to get the camber right - $125 or so
17. TRD shift **** - $75
18. K&N air filter and adaptor
Top is in good condition but it has been patched. Convertible top works but it has a small kink.
Rear spoiler is from Acura Integra and car was painted back in 99.
I also added aftermarket front bumper. It took me forever to find a bumper like this... as there arent many body kit for this car.
Few problems after driving today.. The steering feels notchy. Slight grind to 2nd gear.. But only happened once. Brake feels soft and weak. Might need some Brake TLC.. Otherwise, the car is in great shape and engine sounds good!
I'm asking as is for $2500 FIRM!
I'm located in Birmingham, AL
These pics were taken 2-3 years ago... But looks pretty much the same now... maybe few paint chips and such.

I can vouch for Phil. I bought an FD off of him about this time last year and he went above and beyond to make sure the car was as described and in good working condition. He also put a map in my PFC(installed when I picked the car up) for me and offered me some of his aftermarket parts he had at a very discounted price.
