Anybody want a tuning day in Memphis, Nashville, Huntsville ect...?

Anybody interested in having a Steve Kan tuning day in Memphis or surrounding areas (Nashville, Huntsville, Birmingham)? Anywhere that is closer to Memphis than Fort Worth would be fine with me. Just gauging interest, I haven't gone about setting anything up yet. Other treads on his tuning trips I've read usually put the price somewhere around 500-550 depending on how much the dyno time costs. I could probably get a pretty good deal on dyno time here in Memphis. But I would be open to another city if it was more centrally located for everyone.

Anyone who is interested let me know and specify which city is best for you and when is best for you. If there are enough people then I will contact Steve and see when he can do it and the price. And then I will find out the cost of dyno time in whatever city is chosen.

I would be in for street tuning here in Huntsville. I could arrange a dyno day for $65 hr with A/F for those who wanted it... . But I would prefer the street after last time. 4+ hours on the dyno!!!!

Well, he's only made return trips to certain parts. To my knowledge, I don't think he's ever been to Huntsville.

Nashville sounds great. SOme of the East Tenn boys are going single right now and will need tuning in 2-3 months. It is just about a 2 1/2 hour drive for us so it should be too bad.

Tuning Day

I'm in Memphis but I can drive to Nashville if I have to. Looks like there are a couple from Knoxville.

I might be interested...Huntsville is only about an hour away...and nashville and memphis are about 2 hours. I will be ready in ~2 months since I do want tidy up my engine bay and some other random things before I do it.

Ok. I'm going to compile a list of people who would be interested in each city. Let me know which city you would prefer and what cites you would still go to if it was held there. I'm thinking mid to late june to give us enough time to get everything planned and to give everybody time to finish things up and get ready for tuning.

example for me
memphis - preferred
nashville - yes
huntsville - yes

Here is a preliminary list based off of the earlier posts. Let me know if I got anything wrong or if you would be interested in any other cities.

* indicates preferred city

memphis:
jeepguy04 *
rotornut *
TwinTurbo_SE7EN

nashville:
jeepguy04
rotornut
TwinTurbo_SE7EN
djseven *
other east TN guys???

huntsville:
jeepguy04
rotornut
sk8world *
$150FC *
TwinTurbo_SE7EN *

I will go if it is close to Nashville to see some of the cars.
Might even bring the 91 to get it on the dyno for numbers only
