Hey Whodiddy,
I Am in Saluda, I owned a shop in Hawaii before i moved here. I can do everything for you minus the porting .. I would reccomend Rotorsports or Gotham Racing for a ported engine..( not sure if Rotorsports ports their engines themselves.)

PM me and we can talk. I work at MR cycles in Asheville, stop by sometime and we can talk.
The price of a ported engine is worth haveing a good pro do that part. As i said before i can do all the R&R work for you.

I too am in the WNC area and also need to find a rotary specialist. Ashville is 2 hours from me. I dont need a rebuild, but a tune up is high on the to-do-list.

No toes being stepped on here;D I am just offering local help. I don't do it full time anymore now that i wrench on bikes again full time. And i really don't have the time to do the rebuild itself. So i would also reccomend Rotorsports or Gotham racing for the actual rebuild. But all the R&R i can do for a decent price. Again just offering more local help than haveing to drive 2 1/2 hours and leave the car.

Harris69,.. I drive a silver FD with Single turbo etc... I drive it everyday from Saluda to Asheville on I 26 to I40 then to the Biltmore exit. 1 1/2 miles south on 25 to MR cycles were i presently reside in the dungeon wrenching on bikes

There was a white T2 that came into teh shop on weds. and everyone said they were checking out my car. I didn't have time to go out and talk story with the owner. As well there was a vert that came in about a month ago with a FD engine swap and single turbo. Kinda had a taxi cab theme going on with the yellow paint and checkerboard graphics on it. Was real clan. Also had a supra style spoiler on it like my Gf's FC. ( which should be here sometime in August from Hawaii when she goes back to finish up some work) If either of those cars were you sorry i didn't get a chance to get away. They always seem to show up when i am head deep in a big job Stop in again and i will get away. If it wasn't you and you are in the area,.. stop in and ask for me in the service area.

Whodiddy... I got your PM and will send you one with my #. I am going to Nashville this weekend to visit the Gf's family so i probably won't get a chance to call till next week. But feel free to ring me up;D

Aloha, Dave

That was my White FC. I live in Franklin. I was in Asheville for the day to see my GF and hang out with my friends. 2 of my friends from Franklin Motorsports were delivering a bike that day and their truck broke down so we came and picked them up. I have also seen a blue GXL I think at the mall a few times lately. We should definitely meet up and hang out sometime. Holla back

I hear that. My FC is primer white right now but patience is a virtue. It took me 2 and a half years with this project so far.

BigIslandSevens,

White FC with checkers is Howee's (SP) I drive a 95 VR base which is currently for sale. You will notice mine when you'll see it- trust me. I think i saw your car a while back on 25. (does it have black stripes) If that was you, i blew by you in my Porsche 928. My car is going in the body shop soon- i am getting a body kit (sexy style) put on, and getting few other things taken care of.

Thanks,
Tayyab.

I never knew there were so many people in WNC? I just did a rebuild/install for a guy with a white FC a few months ago, and I believe he was from franklin? I used to know of a couple of guys in Asheville, one with an FC and one with an FD.

Hell Yea you did the rebuild for me and its running ******* awesome. If this guy is willing to drive an hour or so then he should go to you. I'm getting the Rtek chip we talked about in a couple of weeks and I've already got the bigger injectors. Thanks a shitload man and I'll always send work your way.
