I've rebuilt, run, and jetted both, though I'm a little rusty on the jetting. We can definitely rebuild it pretty quick. I thought you were running the OER.

I'm not that local but have been running mine on my SA for the past 17+ years. Be glad to answer any questions if I can. Weber/Dells are really easy to rebuild compared to most OEM carbs like the nikki.

cbperformance.com has everything you'd need in-stock, unless you'd rather take it down and only order gaskets and o-rings that look rough. I'd recommend buying a rebuild kit that includes o-rings, main gasket, fuel filter and crush washers, needle and seat, bearing cover, and perhaps a new float. Any idea if your jetting is known good, or if you need a small assortment of jets?

Crit last time I tried to deal with cbperformance they were no shows. No reponses and had to cancel my order becuase they couldn't deliver the rebuild kit. Not sure how they are now, but this was just 2 years ago. I ordered my kit from dellorto.com in the UK and used paypal to pay for it and it was in my hands in less than 2 weeks.
I'd grab a full rebuild kit, you never know whats instore once you crack it open.

I'd recommend the same. I also forgot to mention the AP diaphragm, and I'm sure there's other stuff I forgot. I was just trying to think of a U.S. distributor so we could have a kit on-hand. I don't want Donnie to be down longer than he has to be, and I don't think a rebuild kit should hold him up on account of international shipping. Maybe even eBay can score a local kit quickly.

Go ahead and try cbperformance and see what happens, its worth a shot. If they deliver and the inlet needle/seat is small (like a 225 or something) keep the old one (which should be a 300). I think I have my old one still if you guys get in a pinch.
Too bad I'm not closer. I'll be trying to go to the April 1st meet down there next month.

well i ordered some stuff from CB a few days ago. i go some base gaskets and 2 AP diaprahms. i get the vibe from them they arent in any rush to ship me my stuff. i dont think ill be rebuilding the dellorto this week. i need to sort out my timing issue first. i do want to rebuild it before DGRR though.
i checked my jets and theyre dead on via gruntled.com. i didnt check my needle/seat though. i dont think my dellorto has even been broken into before me though. my AP diaprahm was leaking and the thick black gasket RB puts in there was still there. i ditched it due to dry rot and put in a barrowed AP diaprahm until my new one gets here.
i had ordered a good bit of jets and stuff from a guy off of ebay from italy a while back. i still have the majority of them, but they are much too big for this application. they were for a streetport 13b.

Thats why I ended up going to dellorto.com for the kit. They have an entire kit that has every softpart you can replace and needle/seat as well.
When I ordered from CB they would say it was going to be shipped, never shipped but they would never tell me when it would ship and finally they admitted they didn't have the parts and were waiting for them to come in from, you guessed it, overseas. Thats when I cancelled and just ordered direct from dellorto.com.
I hope it works out for you and they come through. If your careful you may be able to just clean it up and put it back together short term to use and then rebuild it for real when the parts come in. At least they are easy to pull off and take apart.

How's it running for you? Ok? I'm planning on going to the mountain run and/or showing up at the next OGTA. I could work with you tuning it if you want at one of those outings.

Yep. The airbox, AFM and coolant bottle are all squared away on the SE, so I'm cruising around to feel out the EFI. No real plans. Give me a call when you're close, and I'll head back to the house to meet you.
