I just got back from driving the course and we'll have several options but there are alot of curvey roads in Franklin and Granville counties. I was gone about 90 minutes and that includes a gas stop. Plenty of curves to keep us busy, it'll just depend on traffic. It is gonna be a fun drive.

^LOL! Where did you learn military time?!? Haha.
Yeah I have a hard time getting around sometimes! I need a navigator, I'll have to talk to AFPC about creating a job for that, haha.

I don't know how Eric manages to function on the ground. :0)

Military time? Oh sh*t your right, it is! I think I saw it on TV or something. Good luck getting AFPC to do that...it's hard enough just to get them to put the doughnut down and answer the phone...

On the Road Again!
On the Road Again . . . Ah, yes, On the Road Again:
On the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again,
The life I love is makin' road music with my tires and my friends
And I can't wait to get on the road again,
On the road again, goin' places that I've never been
Seein' things that I may never see again,
And I can't wait to get on the road again.
With a little help from Willie and Waylon this was the feeling I had today. Anyone got the CD? That would be the perfect song to play when we start a Drive and it would be great if everyone had it and could play it simultaneously as we prepare to leave our staging point. Lets try it for the next drive. Get the Willie Nelson version of the song, definitely not the Bob Dylan, Acid trip version, please.
We spent 2 solid hours, from 5:00 to a little after 7:00 PM doing what rotary owners should be doing, driving their cars over curvy roads at high RPMs. We saw some nice scenery, the rear end of the car, either RX7 FC or FD or an RX8, and scaring the local wildlife. No gas has ever been burned in a more nobler cause!
No one got lost that we couldn't find and no ones car broke down that couldn't be fixed. Overall a great way to spend time with friends, drivers and rotorheads. What we did today fully justifies God's intent when He bestowed mankind with the Rotary Engine. Yes it was almost a religious experience. We even stopped at a rural church when we realized we'd lost Ben and Greg and gave thanks, that we were driving the perfect, heavenly inspired, automobile power plant - not that we'd lost Greg or Ben!
That was so much fun we'll have to do it again.

And I apologize Nic, didn't mean to forget about you baby-rotary owners, haha. Do you and Keri have a gameplan set up for your project? I expect results! Good looking results! lol

Ben, I checked my parts inventory for that S4 window switch yur looking for but what I have is the door lock from a blue interior FC. It has wires so I thought it was a window switch but when I checked it this weekend I found out I was wrong. I'd suggest you PM Smoken', real name is Steve Leverette. He is living in Statesville now but is from Durham and may have the S4 window switch you're looking for. He has had a pretty good stock of S4 parts over the years and only owns S4s.
Sorry to hear about your injector problem after leaving the Char Grill. You think you got them done this time or should you check the O rings?

I'm not really sure what that means so don't ask. Take it however you want, haha. You're a Marine so I'm pretty sure I already know how you're gonna take it, haha. It's been a long time man, it'd be good to see you at the ARRRRR-BQ (Capt. Jack Sparrow will be there). I saw that movie last night btw, it was good but not as good as the first.

greg yes i have done a compression test and the results point to explosive decompression when the gases reach the exaust, this is a real breakthrough! lol.
no bert ive come to the conclusion that it is not the o rings but the spacer below the injector isnt holding it up high enough to seal sully, so a bit of silicone tubing will have to keep me till i can get some spacers.
ill have to get ahold of steve, only prob is he is never frieking home, hes always out somewhere.
