Hello Everyone !

I recieved an idea from a veteran in the Rotart biz who most of you know because he has been to every Meet that I have organized.

This is his idea: " Meeting of The Minds "

The concept is to have a meeting at a place where we can have an open forum.
Where each person can step up to the plate and speak their mind.
If you want to read poetry that is ok also.
Or you may have some ideas as to future meets, places or drives.
Whatever floats your boat is fine to mouth off..

Even if there is someone you dont like you can use this open forum..

If you want to propose marriage to your sweetheart then you can do that also.

If you got a beef with someone you can let it all out here at this Meet and not worry that there will be a fight. It will be as civil as all of our meets have been up to now... a "Demilitarized Zone" soto speak.

So I would expect even Tweak to be there and let me have it... spoken words only of course... no punches

Let me know a suggestion of where we can have this Meet... at night migh be a good idea.. just make sure you got an id or they wont let you in the place... referring to the Young un's

 

We will also discuss the plans for "The RX7 Ft. Lauderdale Car Show"

On hand will be the organizer of that event so don't miss this Meet.

 

I Like The Idea And If That Dosent Work We Can Do Like The Old Days Put On The Boxing Gloves Let It All Out Then Shake Hands Like Real Men And Move On With Life.what Ever We Do We Have To Stop Talking About Each Other Am Talking About In General. Every Mechanic Talks About The Other Bejind There Back It Never Ends If We Would Come Together And Help Each Other Out It Would Be A Better Rotary World. There Is Not Many Of Us So We Have To Make The Best Of It Let Me Know What You All Think.

Zorro called me today and asked me to spread the word around about having an impromptu meet tomorrow Sunday afternoon...

There is a car show in Hialeah at TK Performance located at 5690 NW 167th St ..

that is Red Rd & Palmetto Expwy.

He and Luis from Dragon Motorsports suggested we all meet there tomorrow around 12 noon with as many RX7's as possible... Spread the word.

 

will try to be there tomorrow...

there were 13,789 FD's made and there are 5733 FD's left

 

Even more of a reason to keep the cars, hopefully theyll be like the old "muscle cars"

 

Ummm, this idea is...."different".

Question: Where did we get that number for FDs left?

 

/\ONE OF THE THREADS ON THE 3RD GEN SECTION (they got it from carfax). sAD HUH!

 

 

How could that number be so low? Are they getting that number from registered cars? I think there are more then that amount, maybe just not registered, but used as track cars.

 

But those "track" cars arent driven on the street....

 

those numbers are fact cause thats all the records that carfax has as in people who own FD's there might be more but there probably in junk yards & stripped (auctions

 

if its in a junkyard or stripped its not on the list

 

So when/where is the meet? Any suggestions?
Why dont we go, and just talk cars, and leave everything behind. Member its a "car" meet....
