As I see it they had no bad intentions with the comments on their forum. It may have been misunderstood by Laz which can happen..

As stated by other members here, it would have been good to attend both events BUT our "Churasco" meet has been going strong for 6 years and it's the one event we Rotary enthusiast in S. Florida look forward to every year.

Hopefully the Epic Mazda meet goes well for your crew and maybe next year we won't have a scheduling conflict and all of us can attend...

As for us showing up to their meet... I only speak for myself .. BUT
Most of us stay at the Churasco meet from opening time till the park closes. Those who want to attend both events can do so if they plan accordingly and wish to do so but I will be at Markham the entire time... especially since we have a large group from the North coming down to attend the event...

the mazda epic meet II is postponed. The "Churasco" markham park is still set for nov.13

as a matter of fact, yes
it was becaus eof you guys.
we thought about it and swallowed our pride and will want you guys to make a huge appearance at our meet.

we also went back to the drawing board to redesign the whole thing...
there will be websites/updates/videos/pictures.
a full blown meet, much bigger than last time.

we want to make this twice as big as last year and 2 weeks wasn't enough time, that plus most people attending the churrasco meet/orlando hella clean meet.

hopefully we will have the support of this community!

i was a bit disappointed that i wouldnt be able to make it to the EPIC meet...but thats great now we'll have both...just make sure you dont plan it for the same day as the Bizspeed show thats at the end of November!!!

 

great i really wanted to make it to the mazda meet too but rx7 was my top priority, glad i can make it to both... i know my gf will be happy, she loves mazda 3s

as for a date, it is sitll being discussed.
we are focusing more on what our members have available and work around that.

the idea is to have it in january/february.
hopefully it isnt too cold...

The big plus is that the Epic meet is at a Mazda Dealership

Note to the OP, most of us will be gone Mid-April for the Rotary Run to the Dragon.

 

December/January/February is good as our RX7's love the cold wheather....
