Forget This Whole Thing Alex. I Dont Want To Fight With You Over Some Sticker. So Keep Going With Your Ideas For The Club. As For My Design Im Saving Them For Another Club That Hasnt Been Had Yet.

 

Dude, I am not in a pissing match with you. On the contrary - we want as many opinions on designs as possible. I got a little bent out of shape because you think I am trying to steal someone else's design. It's not stealing if you have their approval and authorization to use it. Hell, they gave it to me to use.

I personally don't like any of the other designs, - but I have not posted anything "negative" about it. I just tried to find another design which I find more pleasing on the eyes, as well as easier to work with. If I see another one that I find better, you can be sure I'll voice that opinion.

As for why you wouldn't join a local RX club... That would be your choice, not mine. I would like our little group to grow into something nice & enjoyable, with no drama. I know we would all like for you to be a part of it.

The South Beach background was Roger's "RX7TheOne" idea and will all the nice art deco building also on the backdrop.... it would be fine if this club was only about Sodom and Gomorrah South Beach or Miami for that matter... but its not.. its about rotary vehicle owners that live in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. So we have to cater to the masses... in this case to further the justification .. the rotary owners dont only drive 7's but they also drive Cosmos like Ismael, RX3 like Marco Marine, RX-8's, or a Rotary Pickup truck like Fernando who works with the Coast Guard, or the'Mazda Miata w/ 13B belonging to Gullermo, or the '84 Toyota Corolla 12A powered of Raul, or '96 Honda Civic Hatchback w/ 13B belonging to Castillo and there are others.

My original thought was to have a strictly RX7 name.. but at this point adopting SoCals logo and incorporating as part of ours would be advantageous as it will allow for us to be part of the larger umbrella. There are other states that are and will be using the same logo type... we could be part of the same Mafia soto speak. It would be a logo that would be synonomous with Rotaries and an RX club catering to the owners of Rotary Powered vehicles.

I will be reposting the new logo that was introduced by Directfreak along with others that you or anyone else can submit. You have time but please try to get it done soon so we can move on with these plans.

I love it man... this is really nice... you had the font.. I tried to modify it but I guess i dont know how to use photoshop as well... but it looks really cool and quite honestly i hope that this is the one that we end up using... well there.. I have noted my preference... lets just hope that everyone else votes the same way...

Anyone know how to cure a major back muscle spasm... if i cant find its cure i will be shut in for a few days as getting in and out of my vert will be close to impossible and extremely painful.

 

Hey val ,hot water jacuzzi spa i had surgery 3 yrs ago on my L5 disc,and it still hurts ,when it acts up i jump in my jacuzzi and have a few beers and stretch .or just take a hot shower and then do some back stretchs,or just do a zanibar or oxi and that should help ,lol

I liked the last one IMO someone on here stated that the logo be by a beach. just take the last one and add some water

I cant go... I threw out my back playing Santa Claus for some 200 kids .. some of these kids were too heavy to lift up on to my knee... It was great to see the kids each year but now I am limited in movement for a few days.

Anyway... have a great time.. take plenty of pics... Carlos Lopez should be racing his GT1- 20B race car i believe but I know Steve Senay will be there in his Red 1st Gens...

 

there where no rx7's out there today not even Rob.. the only rotary was an Rx8.. but it was still nice, plenty of street cars out there

 

wellI finally cast my vote for #2... I agree with taking out the lower line of SFRX7Club and moving the rotor further South... can that rotor be sort of swirly??? you know like a "hurricane effect"..... the shirt design is a different matter where that 1 design by Chris(?) with the 3 cars at a 1/4 angle was brought up could be the next poll. By the way, I'd like thank Simon for his dedication to our club this past Sunday...and to Val for keeping it all together.. people were great and of course the Rx's...I hope by the next meet mine i'll be there as well...... by the way did that Pepe Pinguo ever show up?????

 

If Chris ever gets that design of the three cars on a puter image then i will post it and it can be part of the new poll... but he hasnt done anything yet... and he dont answer his phone... i guess he has gone to the dark side (Haters Club). newayz

Pepe called my cell on the ride up but I couldnt talk to him or anyone for that matter... i was busy trying to catch up right about the time when people missed the turnpike north entrance.. it was Chaos at that point but i dunno what he was sayin'.. perhaps he showed up to the meet.. i dont know.. too many people that day.

I havent done anything yet because you havent told me anything yet. Dont come with the I was trying to call him because you havent called my cell or left any messages. The last time that you called me was at the meet and I didnt answer because I didnt hear my cell phone at the time. Yeah you left me a message but all I could hear was the sound of your 13B. Also you didnt come up to me at the meet to ASK me if I could do a design for you. As for the image ask someone else to do it for you because all my work is hand drawn and I cant do it on a computer.

The HATERS CLUB I hope thats a joke becuase I havent said anything negative about the club your trying to start.

 

4 more days? Lets make till the end of December. What's your hurry for, man? Who cares if you don't have decals by the time the next meet starts. As long as some one comes up with a really good design that sticks out among the others, that's the only thing that really should matter. If you constantly push people to vote, or rush them to put up their design, you're not really going to get a good design.

Less than 4 days left for the next poll that will last till the 31st of December.

We have to come to a decission that soon... there are more people in this than just the ones that get on the forum .. all in all 83 persons have recieved an email concerning the logo and needing to vote on it... only about 10 or so have actually gotten on the forum and done just that... then what will happen is that a couple will say later on " I didnt know anything about it.." and then i will ask them if they recieved the email that i sent and they will either say. "Yes, but i didnt open it up" or " I hardly ever check my emails" or " I never get on the forum" its always the same similar stories.

Why the rush... ?
Considering that the 5 domain names have already been purchased... whichever one doesnt get used then we can sell it to whoever wants it.

The bank account for the club needs to be established...
The fictitious name has to be registered with the State of Florida Dept of Tax & Revenue
The officers of the club has to be in writing,
The company letterhead representation letters have to be given to the distributors so we can get the dealer pricing on items...
and there is more ... and so on ... and so on ... and so on...

There is a lot of work that I have been involved with since I first had this idea from way back in January of 2005.

The time is upon us... so if you have a design submit it...
